| Emphasizing the "Three R's": Be Responsible Be Respectful Be Ready Dear CSD-HS Families, Friends, and Supporters: Welcome to our website. The wealth of good news here is a small indication of the achievements, strengths, and talents that comprise our school. The Viking spirit is strong and continues to expand as we strive to take CSD to greater heights. Success is our only option!! Cambridge-South Dorchester High School is a wonderful learning institution filled with a variety of opportunities for students, staff, and community members to work, learn, and grow together. Our academic efforts produce scholars who continue their post-secondary education, have exceptional skills, and have extensive resumes that include numerous school and community service activities. Our elective programs and clusters yield responsible young people who are prepared to contribute significantly to our society as they further develop their talents and skills. CSD-HS remains committed to stimulating intellectual curiosity, developing personal qualities and well-being, fostering respect for diversity and individual differences, encouraging parental involvement and support, and emphasizing high expectations for achievement and behavior of all students. Our focus this year includes increasing and refining our skills as we concentrate on the essential knowledge that all students should gain. This requires increased student and staff accountability and participation in all aspects of school life. Parental involvement and community support are vital to the progress and success of our efforts.
