Birds of the Day:

... Well, we still come back to the sidwalk! ...

It's so hot around here (110�) that we don't see many birds until just after the sun sets behind the mountains.

We stand near a humming bird feeder to watch the 5-6 Broadtail's chase each other. They sit in the pine trees just out of reach and pay no attention to us but are always watching bugs and the other hummers.

There's always a grackle and a mockingbird or two and of course a couple of house sparrows & morning doves.

We also saw four Inca doves this evening!

As we got to the camaro to leave Thea spotted a common nighthawk flying by...
