On Friday, June 14, 2002, the Carl Sandburg College Upward Bound Program made a college visit to the Univesity of Chicago. While there, we were shown around campus, listened to a brief informational meeting, and ate lunch, which was provided graciously by the university. The University of Chicago is one of the most prestigious universities in the world and a lot of the students stated that they would like to attend school there one day. Erik, a program student, took pictures of the visit. If you would like to check out the campus, click on the links below.

One of the beautiful buildings on campus. A neat totem pole erected in one of the buildings. One of the awesome stained-glass windows in the campus church. The group hanging out during the tour. A view of one part of campus. Are we in Chicago or Transylvania? A picture of the floor in one of the buildings. A nice little place to study.
