On August 12, 2002, the Upward Bound Program sponsored its 2nd Annual Golf Outing at Windmill Golf Course west of Galesburg. The students and chaperones who attended had a great time, with first place going to the team of Chris, Kristin, Steve, and their chaperone Eric. Each won a brand new graphing calculator for their first place prize. By the end of the day, everybody walked away with prizes, no matter what place or score.
