There is Independent Living as well as Assisted Living. There are 43 Independent living apartments with 4 ADA compliant and wheel chair accessible. There are 20 assisted living apartments all ADA compliant and wheel chair accessible.
Couples are Welcome.
The center has activities for community and resident seniors, including art and exercise classes, computer lab, games, travel trips, and entertainment program's throughout the year.
The center has a nice dining room "Rendezvous Room" which is fully capable to feed many people. And there are differerent dinners such as Birthday Dinners, membership dinners etc. You must try the food! Enjoy the fellowship with other people from around the community and abroad.
There is also Transportation which takes people to the stores, picks up people for the Adult day care which is another thing the center offers for the families that cannot stay home with their elders.
Besides the Centers busses, there is a Service called Anchor Rides which is run by the muncipality of Anchorage, that can take you on longer trips or ones that the center cannot accomadate.

More and more the government is taking away something from everyone, or passing some stupid law here in Alaska, that was made from New York!
And most so called protection groups have never been to Alaska so how do they know what is good for us or not? Fat ladies in penthouses making laws, and only know what they read in books about Alaska! Nonsense!

Well it seems that the Governor has taken away the Longevity Bonus. Let the Senate know by calling the Governor's office!
