The school play will be held on April 28th at 7 p.m. We are holding practices after school from 4:30 to 5:30, currently Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but we will probably change the days next week. We still need props, scenery, and volunteered time. Anything you can offer will be appreciated.
Another 9 weeks is nearly over. Report cards will be mailed out after the 17th. Please feel free to make an appointment to see me about your child's grades. My conference period is between 11:00 and 11:40 everyday. If you need an after school meeting, please call to make an appointment.
We have completed the 7th, 8th, and 11th grade benchmark exams. We still have the 7-9 Iowa Test of Basic Skills in April, as well as Algebra I and Geometry Benchmarks. Please keep these tests in mind, and make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before the exams and a good breakfast the morning of the exams, and if possible, send a mid-test snack with your child. All of these things will help your child be alert so they can meet thier full potential.
