Little on the Horizon (12/29/03)

Because of the truckload of high school applications I still must do, and due to the fact that there is not much to change, the next time I will update the site will not be until January 5th. I just wanted to inform you so you wouldn't be wondering what was happening. Until then, see ya!

The Challenge of Challenges (12/28/03)

Sorry that I'm posting so much about the featured game, but the score to beat has now skyrocketed to 3,002! Good luck! (You'll really need it!)

Sleepy Head (12/27/03)

The only thing I added onto the site today was an increased challenge for the Featured Game, Helicopter.

New Featured Game! (12/26/03)

Okay, fine. So it's one day early, but there is a new Featured Game on the site! This weekend, try your luck at Helicopter! I hope you enjoy it!

New Puzzle! (12/25/03)

Most people don't have to work on Christmas, but I made an exception and provided you with a new cryptogram puzzle. When the Puzzles section is completed, it will have five puzzles in it, but it only has two now. Happy holidays everyone!

Sports Links Section Opened! (12/24/03)

The Sports Link page is now open to everyone in the Entertainment section. Although I only have pages from Will and Anonymous right now, soon you will be able to go there to visit a collaboration of Sports sites that have been created from many other people. Enjoy the new page!

New Page View Height Reached!

On December 23rd, the site broke the page view record! On the Index Page alone, I recorded an astounding 99 page views! (Not unique.) The site is definitely showing signs of becoming more and more popular everyday, and I want it to stay that way.

Fourth CSB Kemps Site is now Open! (12/23/03)

An early Christmas present has been delivered! Yes, that's right, after an inevitable 6-and-a-half hour delay, the next CSB Kemps Website has been released! It is a new place to find the best info on Kemps, the latest in sports, and a new beginning of card game website history! A link to the site can be found here, and can always be found inside the Links page. I, on behalf of its creator, hope that you have a great time at the new site!

Fourth CSB Kemps Website Coming Soon (12/22/03)

As if I don't have enough going on right now, a new Kemps website will be officially released at 11:00 AM tomorrow. Peculiarly, the site is being created at the end of the Kemps fad, but perhaps that is the only way to bring it back up again. Exactly who has created this website? Click here to find out!!!

Another New Section?!

That's right! Although it is not here yet, there will be a new "Sports Links" section inside of the Entertainment section within a day or two. I hope everybody's looking forward to it!

First Puzzle Completed! (12/21/03)

It isn't much yet, but a puzzle has been added to the Puzzles page under the Entertainment section. It is a simple word search where you must circle the names of the card values. Good luck solving it!

Another New Section on the Way

Yes, as if I haven't put up enough new pages already, I will be creating a Signals page. I realize that I wrote an entry in the rules section stating that I would not tell of any signals on this site, but I can't help myself. It will be up soon!

I have a New Featured Game! (12/20/03)

This weekend, test your skills at CURVE BALL! I usually don't write articles on featured games, but I'd like to inform you that I no longer need to post a link on the headline. The Games page can now be found under the entertainment section. I'd also like to mention that I will not be updating the site much at all until January, with the exceptions of featured games every weekend.

Ironing out the Wrinkles

I have fixed a truckload of mini-problems around the site. For starters, I changed the marquee color to steel blue, which is much better than the wheat color I picked last time. I also changed the massage inside of the marquee and also slowed it down slightly. As you can see, I moved the Contacts page to the top text portion of the index page, and made the Links section accessible from both the Kemps at CSB and The Game of Kemps sections. The individual listings for the players section has at last been opened for viewing, although it is not as good as it can be. Last but not least, I changed the counter so it is only visible on the index page, and not the news page. (Phew! That's a lot of work for one day!)

Website Renovation Completed! (12/19/03)

At last, the website has been updated! Some of the new features include a new Match of the Day page and a Puzzles page. A mini spellingt-check was also run, although I did not check every page. (There's a big difference between saying "Keep up the good work" and "Kepp up the god work".) The biggest change to the site however, is how it is now divided into four different sections: The Game of Kemps, Kemps at CSB, Entertainment, and Random Stuff. This new format should make everything easier to reach and it should help public visitors to the site make their way around.

Gone but not Forgotten (12/18/03)

First, I'd like to say happy holidays! Although Will's Kemps site was deleted over last weekend, I have been able to put links to his site archives on my site! (Translation: You can now view his rules, strategies, and rankings by clicking the link at the "View" bar on the appropriate pages.) Don't ask me how I did it; it was very complicated indeed! Enjoy the new additions!

We're Famous! (12/17/03)

You may not have noticed it, but this site will now come up in a Google search! I did nothing to make this happen, but it is very nice to have! I hope that this will allow players from across the world to visit this site, and see how we play the game. Try it yourself!

Major Changes on the Horizon!

Over the holidays, I will be updating this site greatly, splitting it up into three main sections: Kemps at CSB, Reference, and Entertainment. These three categories will be primarily made up of site pages that already exist, with a few new ones, including an exciting new Match of the Day page. It's all coming soon; I'll keep you updated!

Also in the CSB Kemps world today:

Rules Section Slightly Updated

Due to constant debates about which rules I agree upon, I have updated my rules section to fit the way I play. I am not strictly enforcing the rules on everybody, as they are just to my desire. (That second sentence probably just saved me fifty e-mails from Brandon.) All of the revised rules rest inside section 7.

New Poll on Alex's Website

Okay... So this isn't much of an article, but for the first time in who-knows-when, Alex has posted a new poll on his website! Alex Y. and David retained their number one position, while Anthony and Brandon rose to second, narrowly edging out Edward And James, who fell down to third. Surprisingly, Alex F. and Jeremy were only ranked fourth, instead of their usual nobody's-ahead-of-us first. The reason of the delay of these updates was because I have been doing score-booking recently, and I haven't had much free time in the last few days. Sorry about that! I hop to update tomorrow...

And then there were Two (12/14/03)

(I'm updating on a weekend! OMG!) It may have been taken away beforehand, but today, I realized that Will's website is no more. That's right, the only CSB Kemps website with rankings has been ended by its creator, Will. Rest in pieces! Over the next few days, I will be updating all of the links I have to his website. I hope in the future that we can rely on Alex's website to take his place, but as of now, the CSB Kemps Website total has been decreased by 33 percent!

I have a new featured game! (12/12/03)

Website Update (12/11/03)

There has been a small new addition to the site! You may have noticed it already, but there is a new yellow scrolling marquee at the top of the page. Although it shows nothing but "Welcome to the CSB Kemps Website!" right now, it may be used in the future to post important headlines. Also, this site is now part of the "Zhi Club!" "Zhi" in Mandarin means "ambition," and this has become part of that network of sites. Also, I have updated many of the player descriptions *there you go, Brandon,* and I hope the new ones are more detailed and accurate than the last ones. Hope you like the new changes!

Rivalry (12/10/03)

There have been many people going around saying that Kemps will end. Today, despite those comments, it regained its former status by hosting two spirited games. In the first game, Brandon and Anthony trounced Edward and James, ten to three. This was the fourth consecutive match that Brandon and Anthony had beaten their rival duo. Brandon consistently believes that the Chinese National team should be given higher rakings, but Will has resisted those pleas to promote them. Personally, I do not believe they should be any higher than they currently are, for they bend the rules in every which way to win games. James claims, "Because we follow the rules, it makes our spectacular record even more amazing." How long will these two teams be against each other? When will they stop arguing and play fairly? *Hint, hint Brandon* Only time will tell.

Should we Believe Him?

Today during Study Hall, Jeremy claimed he and Alex F. were the best team. I believed him instantly, so for the time being, Jeremy and Alex F. are officially the best team! Therefore, they are currently ranked in the number one position. Congratulations! You earned it! Together, they have been an astounding team, compiling an amazing record of 0-2. They are excellent already, but still have room for improvement. Keep up the good work!

Is this the Beginning of the End? (12/8/03)

First of all, I'd like to apologize for the incredible delay in posting this, and secondly, I'd like to apologize for not putting up a featured game over the weekend. Recently, Kemps action has slowed down quite a bit, with only one game being played today, the first school day this has happened since the game was starting to be played around campus. Many players believe that following the weekends is the hardest time to play again, and one can only wonder, will it be able to pass Winter Break? I wish to have it continued, but others say "the Kemps fad is getting old." If it is indeed so that we must end the Kemps legacy, I have future plans for the site, but I don't expect that to be necessary. Enjoy the game while you can! Live a little! Etcetera!

Defending the Defense (12/3/03, after spilling the Pink Lemonade Bubble Nuggets):

The following is Danny's article:

Hey eveyone! I think there has been a misunderstanding about my defense. Well, when Brandon and I were playing Edward and James, I didn't care about the outcome of the game because it would have no effect on my partnership with Wells. As a matter of fact, when he heard the news, he was laughing. Also, The polls that are taken and ASSumed are VERY biased. Here is my take:
1. David and Alex. Y.
2. Edward and James.
3. (Tied for 3rd) Wells and Danny & Brandon and Tony
4. Will and Patrick
5. Everyone else is too bad to be listed
Thanks everyone !!!! :)

How Silly! (12/1/03)

Today in the Kemps world was rather slow with the dreary weather, but it was brightened up with a ridiculous comment from Brandon. He claimed he and Anthony were the best team! Ha ha ha!
