AK-47
- The AK-47 is the 'light' rifle for the Terrorists, but many find more use for this than it's heavier friend the SG552. Mainly since it's cheap and powerful. Many a CT found themselves at the mercy of the AK-47 wielding T rather than one holding on to the SG552.
- Let's make a rundown on one of the main reason's why it's one of the most feared gun as well as most used. First of all, the power. We are talking power when it comes to the AK, especially when it comes to armor piercing ability. But for the most, it isn't the armor we want to pierce, but the helmet. So be a good sport, and end a CT's life quick with a good aim at his head. Trust me, the first shot will always be smack in the middle of your crosshairs, so just point and shoot.
- For quite a while, the recoil for this gun has always been very bad. I remember when I used this in beta 6.6 and the recoil was too much for my liking. So much so, the idea for killing someone by the amount of bullets maybe the idea instead of head shots. So if you aren't such a good shot, just aim at your opponent's uh.... crotch. With the recoil, you'll slowly go upwards and within a few seconds, he'll be down and out for the rest of the round, kicked in observer for the next few minutes.
- Something good to try with this gun is to snipe with it. Maybe most of you already know this, but hey, it's still worth mentioning to those who do not know this gun's abilities. It's like what I said, the first shot, will always go in the middle of the crosshair. So this gun is actually an ideal and cheap sniper rifle if you don't need the zoom.
- If you don't like to waste bullets, just aim and the chest, and do the burst-fire magic. Try and 3 bullet burst every now and then so as to give your crosshair a chance to shrink. The idea when you meet with someone is to burst at him once, so he will go down a bit, in the health and screen sense, the next burst is to pin him down, and the last is to finish him. Think like "fatality" in Mortal Kombat.
- For my last words on this gun, take good care of it, and it'll take good care of you. You can be the action frontline man with this, and you can also be the sniper, taking someone's head off with this.
