MUSTER ROLL of Captain G.W. Austin, Company F First Regt Georgia
Reserves, Army of the Confederate States, Colonel James H. Fannin, from
the First day of May 1864, when mustered into the Service of the Confederate
States.
Note: This muster roll contains the original entries of the
men who enlisted in the First Georgia Reserves, Company F. It includes
the number (order in which their names were recorded), name, rank, enlistment
data of when, where and by whom, time period of enlistment, age, height
in terms of feet & inches, complexion, color of eyes & hair and
places of residence at the time of enlistment.
All transcriptions contain to some degree due to human nature,
the poor quality of time-weathered microfilm and illegible writing.
Ive tried diligently to transcribe these documents as accurately as is
humanly possible. Names were left off other reliable sources
and those have now been added to the roster. Other names were misspelled
and those have been corrected.
This is a works in progress site and will be updated / corrected
as research continues and new information becomes available.

Civil War ancestor.
