WHO WILL HELP ME RAISE MY CHILDREN?
This present age lies the question often whispered by many single parents. The conversation takes place in common places such as the workplace; marketplace homes of families and friends and in the Chuches Of GOD. This question "Who will help me raise my children?" Should be an open and public question, especially where the church is concerned! The focus is not only on who will help raise children, but how the Church is observed. The question arises, "Is the Church the Mirror of the world or is the world the mirror of the Church?" In the world we hear about how people who come to the aide of those in need.
It doesn't matter what their beliefs or ethnic backgrounds are. Someone is always moved to be of assistance. In the Church, and in the lives of Christians in general, we often move to be of assistance because we exemplify the Love of God for mankind. We accept the premise that we are our brothr's keeper. Then, if the aforementioned is true, why would a mother ask with a troubled spirit "Who will help me raise my cildren?" The answer to this question is simple and sraightforward; GOD will help you raise your children! A mother that senses impending hardships is shaken to the core. Her question is often one of sincere concern. She might have the blessings of supportive family and friendsm yet there looms the question of trust. In many instanes, the single parent is setting themselves and their children down because their situation and circumstances are fifferent from others. Single parents sare now in the mode of questioning just who they can trust to be there in all circumstances. Where can they tun, and who will not disappoint them and their children? The answer is GOD! FORWARD BY Rev. Clyde H. Rush
