Released Publishing's aim is to equip ministries commited to shattering high intergenerational incarceration rates. We provide, equip, and encourage outreach benefiting and comforting children of prisoners, children impacted by interparental homicide, and other disenfranchised youth. This is accomplished through consulting, advocacy, testimony, training, the supplementation of existing ministries, and the participation in or hosting of group events oftentimes through church and reentry program partnerships (Statement of Faith).
Released Publishing was founded by Cindy Sallis, whose childhood was marked by parental incarceration. She also founded a non-profit Carry Each Other's Burden who receives publications from Released Publishing both donated at cost. Mrs. Sallis is a volunteer for both organizations. She is an author, speaker, mentor, and teacher. She has been blessed to minister at prisons and juvenile detention centers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylavania, New Mexico, and Minnesota. She founded Released Publishing to support those that bless families and communities struggling with incarceration issues.
Carry Each Other's Burden, a 501(c)3, is staffed by volunteers only. 100% of donations go towards expenses related to hosting events, training, and other hard costs.
