The Bath/ Romney Campagin
January 1862
Stonewall Jackson leads his staff through one of the worst winters on record in the Mountians of Morgan County, Virignia.
Confederate officers halt their column to get a bearing on the map.  The going was quite rough for both man and beast as they clmibed the slick moutainous roads around Bath and on to Romney.
Jackson contimplates his stratagy in a small farm borough possibly Unger's Store.  No one on Jackson's staff could figure why the aloof General was pursuing these mountainous outposts.
