Design Decision
Through the whole the process of designing this E-Card maker, I kept a few things in mind; simplicity and usability.
To give my design a clean look, I use dotted lines as borders to frame different sections. I carried the same concept
across the whole design to give it uniform and consistency. I added instructions to make it fool proof. I also allocate all
instructions to the same text box to eliminate any confusion, if any. I also positioned all buttons to the bottom right hand
corner. I did made some design changes from the original idea that I had in mind. Instead of asking for the user to enter
their friend’s name and e-mail address 2nd to last, I had the user enter that information in 2nd. I think that this make more
sense because if you want to send a card, you must know ahead of time who you’re going to send it to.
The flow of my aplication is mostly linear. If I were to redesign this, I would give the user the ability not just to go back to the previous
page, but be able to select any information or selection that they would like to change. To give the users more customizing abilities,
I would let the user upload his/her image and use it as a card. I would also give them a wider range of color to choose from too.
