Design Decision
In this design, I chose to use contrast colors. I use bright red with a red aura like effect for the band’s name. For the date, I used black but alpha is and place it behind the band’s name. This design is relatively simple. I tilt the extra copy portion in different direction in front of the singer clip art so that it would give it a shouting/screaming effect. It also gives the audiences more clues as to what this event was about. I also highlighted every other extra copy, using only black and white for more contrast.

Design Decision
In this design, I used red for some of the text and a greenish shade for the background, which give it a complementary color sense. I incorporated lines in this design to give a sense of order and draws the eyes to the important portion of the flyer. For the clip art, I used a red motion blur and the background a crosshatch effect so that they together gives it a sense of active motion as a hint to the music style.

Design Decision
Taking the advice, I relocated the extra copy portion to the bottom left hand corner. I changed the outer glow of the required portion to a brighter purple that plays contrast with midnight background. I tweaked the band’s name, making the word “Fundamentals” larger than the word “the”. I gave the clip art a light flame like aura which gives it a more elemental look, which corresponds with the band music punk rock jazz style.
