GENERIC MEETING DISCUSSION
--------------------------

Next Meeting: Thursday 6-8 Grainger
  - Goal, make system metaphor
  - Update software scope if necessary.

Plans for the rest of the semester
  - write all user stories & rank stories
  - write system metaphor
  - write release plan
  - plan first iteration
  - write unit tests for first iteration
  - begin writing functional tests

Question if system metaphor can be done w/o customer.
  - Edward McGillis (Coach) says No, customer not needed as
long as user stories are relatively done and developers
know idea of what system should be.

Questions for TA:
  - What system artifacts should we turn in physically.
    - user story note-cards?
    - meeting minute notes + general notes taken during meeting?

Question about user stories:
  - How detailed must user stories be. Would a user story about
"Class percentage is 0 to 100%" be too detailed?

USER STORIES
------------

All developers at this meeting (Al Chu, Angela Thelen, Edward McGillis,
Prashanth Ranganathan) and the customer (Drew Roedersheimer)
discussed all user stories.

The initial ideas brought up on the 11/5/00 meeting were discussed as
well as all questions we brought up during the 11/5/00 meeting.

See http://www.geocities.com/cs327wgb/minutes11_5.html for
last meeting's user story ideas, questions, problems, & concerns.

The first set of user stories was created based on input between
customer and developers.

The user stories will be put online by the customer.

The first set of user storis can be found at:
http://www.geocities.com/cs327wgb/userstory11_7.html.

Subject: Web Based Gradebook - XP Project Questions

We have a question about what physical artifacts we have to turn in at the
end of the semster.

1) Should we turn in physical note cards to you? We are going to place
all our user stories on-line. We believe this is better for a school
project because you (the TAs) will be able to see all of the changes
we made to user stories over time.

Our user stories online will be in "note card shape" and our plan
is to simply print out user stories and use them appropriately during
   meetings and development.

Would this be ok? Or should we still put all our user stories on
   note cards?

2) Should we turn in our own personal notes? For example, I take
meeting minutes at our meetings, and later on I place these
meeting minutes online. The notes aren't very "pretty", they
are only scratch notes for me to remember what to place online
   at a later time.

Thanks,
Al

Note cards on-line are fine!

As far as all meeting minutes are online, I don't think you need
to submit your personal note. However, dividing meeting minutes
in customer's views and in implementor's views would be interesting
thing to try. Good luck!
