Our QA philosophy is that it is never too soon to begin functional testing of the software. For each iteration, checklists to test system functionality will be developed at the beginning of the iterations based on the user stories which have been selected for completion. At the end of an iteration, if a test of the product is delivered, these checklists will be run and results reported to the developers.
Since the iterations have been designed to implement functionality in layers, testing is a relatively straightforward process where checklists will build on previous ones to incorporate functionality that has been added.
