Ramza;Main Character;no special abilities, just has a few extra attacks for the squire class.
Mustadio;Engineer Job;Snipe Job Command;this one is fun as long as you have a gun; you can shoot at specific parts of the body(arms and legs) which makes it so the enemies cannot move or attack.
Agrias;Holy Knight Job;Holy Sword Job Command;My favorite female character you get on the game-this one is fun to use when you like to keep enemies at bay and still beat the crap out of em'.
Rafa;Heaven Knight Job;Truth Job Command;Better than malak's un-truth, it does way more damage. However it's only good to use when enemies group up.
Malak(I like to call him the exploding frog, you'll find out why after the battle in Yardow Fort City);Hell Knight Job;Un-Truth Job Command;like Rafa's Truth weaker tho. not one i usually send into battle.
Orlandu;Holy Swordsman Job;All SwordSkill Job Command;Without a doubt the most coolest guy in the game, if you wanted to you could beat the game with just him. Once you get a chance to get him KEEP HIM!
Meliadoul;Divine Knight Job;Mighty Sword Job Command;another cool character with sword abilities unfortunately they only work on people with weapons, armor, etc...so another words her abilities are useless against monsters.
Beowulf;Temple Knight Job;Magic Sword;ahhh another sword ability character, however this one is a bunch different, his abilities are the same as an oracle, but they have a better chance of hitting(seems like it) and have no charge time, another one you'll not want to miss getting.
Reis;Dragon Job:Dragoner Job Command;as a dragon most of her abilities only work on dragons so it's best to change her to something else, the breath attacks are cool tho if you want to use her.
Cloud;Soldier Job;Limit Job Command; yep the main character from Final Fantasy 7 is on this one. He's actually pretty powerful if you take the time to find his materia blade and get his level up.
Delita;Holy Knight Job; Holy Sword Job command; a friend of you, takes advantage of people during the war and ends up becoming king.
Ovelia;Princess Job;forget her job command; the princess of Ivalice( i think) only have her for a short time till you give her to Draclau.
Alma; Cleric Job; forget her job command; sister to you have her a short time, connected to the boss of the game in a way...you'll find out how.
Olan; Astrologist Job; Starry night(or heaven i forget which) job command; this guy only fights with you once, and it's and easy battle, son of orlandu.
Characters(Bad)-
Algus;originally a good guy on your team till he decides that he hates lower class people, pretty much turns a bad guy cause he pisses you off.
Gafgarion; another good guy turned bad, only turns against you because it's part of his "job."
Draclau; has the first zodiac stone...don't really know how to describe him, the priest of the church(i think).
Rudvich; leader of bart company, not really much about him, ends up being killed by Draclau.
Zalmo; heresy executioner only part in the game is he's trying to kill you for killing Draclau.
Wiegraf; used to be leader of death corps, get the zodiac aries(yay! my zodiac sign)
Marquis Elmdor; hmmmmmm, very strong resemblence to Sephiroth on FF7, pretty cool looking like Sephiroth too, this guy(in my opinion) is the hardest guy in the game. He's the most hardest to kill because you usually have a 30% or less chance of hitting him.
Balk; forget exactly who he is, just another bastard who wants you dead.
