I just left the campground on the way back home and I heard a noise I didn't like. I looked in the mirror and trailer didn't look right, I stopped found a blown tire. I changed the tire.. here is that tire

I got it changed and headed on my way thanking myself for having the thougth to make sure that the spare tire was properly inflated.(it wasn't until I filled it up) I was getting close to getting home and then heard a boom. My wife asked what it was I looked in my mirror and saw the trailer leaning the OTHER way and told her she didn't want to know. Again I pulled over safely and stopped to find the other tire had blown.
With some creativity and a call to a tow truck and a flat bed tow truck we got the trailer back to my yard. Upon removing the tire I found the following tire.

The moral of this.. check your tires.. the tread will not wear out on a trailer tire before the sidewall does.. when in doubt REPLACE them.. The bill to a tow truck is not worth it..
