| The Crazy Country Band originated more than 35 years ago. It was created by Dean Rinehart, Jim Arns and Bernie Rogers. Only one of the original members remain, Bernie Rogers. Bernie, born in Pikeville Ky started playing at age 5. He has played backup with many stars over the years which include the Imperials, the Supremes, Jackie Gleason, Hank Williams Jr., Bill Anderson and others. Rick Devore from Kenton Ohio plays the drums. At age of 14 he started playing in the school band. For years, Rick played with the staff band at the Frontier Ranch Amphitheater in Newark. Rick is a superb drummer. One of his favorite songs to play for his fans is "Old Time Rock and Roll". Bob Postell was born and raised in Marion Ohio. He served his country in the US Army in Vietnam 1967-1969 as a Sergeant E5. Bob started playing music at age 13. He played with a bluegrass band called Cripple Creek Boys for 5 years. He then moved to a band called Hard Times Country where he sang and played guitar for 17 years. Bob started playing rhythm guitar and singing for Crazy Country about 14 years ago. He sings a wide variety of country songs by various artists. One of his most recent additions to the band is the Josh Turner song, "Your Man". Bob has a wonderful bass voice and does this song very well. Terry Poling was born in Milford Center, Ohio. Terry played for the Whiskey River Country Band before joining Crazy Country. He sings and plays lead guitar for the band. Terry has a great voice and does a variey of songs that fans request often. He also plays harmonica, banjo and mandolin. Terry has a special room in his home dedicated to his instruments and his music. Paul Adkins is from Roundhead, Ohio. Paul began playing and singing at the age of 12. His first song was Wildwood Flower. He served his country in the Air Force, joining at the age of 17. He plays lead guitar and sings in a beautiful harmonic voice. One of his most requested songs is "Waltz of the Angels." Paul's son is with the well known Texas band,"The Derailers". Crazy Country plays music for everyone. From Elvis to CCR, Merle Haggard to Country Pop, Waltzes, & Oldies. The band has it all. |
