Want to know what I miss most about my Marine?  Well here are a few things: I miss his constant pranks and joking, sparing with me for fun, hearing him sing above the noise of the lawn mower, his big hugs before he would go anywhere, the fights  with his brother, going fishing and hunting with him, watching him play football in and out of school,  and Pinching his butt when he gets a little sassy and turn to walk away. LOL!!!!!!! Well there you have some of it. There is much more, but I'll spare you today. Take care my friend.
Warmest regards,

"What I miss the most about my Marine is...hearing her say "Mom", or call me on the phone and say, "Good Morning Mommy". She would call me when she woke up every morning and say "Good Morning Mommy" and then tell me what was going on or what she had planned for the day. I really miss that. OR...... Watching her sleep. She looks like she did when she was a baby when she sleeps.

"What I miss the most about my Marine is..."   The late night talks when we would just sit and laugh...

Gosh Brenda. Do we have to narrow it down to one thing? Just kidding. The thing I miss the most about my Marine is his wonderful hugs and having a house full of kids all the time. My Marine is an only child and we always had lots of kids around the house when he was here. The house is awfully quiet now.
Enjoy putting all this together.

This may sound a little pathetic but....What I miss most about my Marine is being needed. He used to need me to do things for him. Now he is so together he can do anything all by himself. On the other hand it's wonderful knowing that he can take care of himself. He's going to be fine no matter where he goes in life.
Thanks for asking,

I miss his wonderful hugs that I stretch oh so far up to get (I am 5'4" and he is 6'1"!) and our "Talk Time" at night after I've gone to bed.  When he was younger, I'd put him to bed, and that was when he needed to talk about his day and feelings.  Now he comes into my room to say good night, and sometimes flops on top of my bed in the dark and just talks about whatever is on his mind.  It is a very healing, close time and I treasure those moments when the barriers come down.

His greeting for me is always "HI POPS"  I can't wait to hear it in September.
