The reluctant Necromancer
Agatha, or Aggie as she prefers to be called, was raised in the mountains just off the eastern edge of Hiddwnworld. Her family was among the nobility of the area, rumored once from Bren, and controlled their lands and people harshly, seeing them as little more as slaves and playthings, while they worked on the dark sorcery of necromancy. Aggie was raised to be one of them, or perhaps more accurately, a finer honed tool of her Father and elder brothers. At a young age through ritual and teaching, her magic ability and innate talent for piercing the veil between the living and the dead was strengthened and focused down that single path, to the point where she is in some ways more akin to the dead than the living. She followed in this path for the praise and 'affection' given to her by her family. Perhaps in time her warm heart and caring nature would have been twisted into the cruel and cold ways of her male relatives, if it were not for one chance meeting.
His name was Jacob, and he was a traveling bard, fair of hair and eyes. One meeting quickly spawned into many, and the pair fell in love. Intending to be married, Aggie went to her family. They did not take this in good cheer, and captured the bard, torturing him and finally killing him and using his spirit and undead body to terrorize the villages near the castle. Aggie, hearbroken and coming to realize the true nature of her family, went out, and did as he would have wished, killing the undead monster that was her beloved, and saving the defenseless villagers.
On the night of this defeat, she packed what she could, and burned the rest of her things, so they could not trace her, taking her demonic raven familiar Shade and her not a horse steed Night, as she fled for her life.
For many weeks she traveled, a mix of despair and fear driving her on until she hoped that her trail had been lost. She also vowed not to use the evil power that flowed in her body, and decided that if she should be followed, she would make sure they would not take her back, alive or otherwise.

Hair: Straight black, long and usually kept up on her head.
Eyes: Dark and intense blue
Skin: Pale, like the skin of the dead. It does not burn or tan.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Description: Tall and willowly, with very little in the ways of feminie curves. It would be very easy for her to be mistaken for an adolescent boy.
Special abilities: Constant awareness of the dead, Ability to raise the dead on will alone. Knowledge of torture, poisons, anatomy, and dark rites of necromancy. No other mind magic or magical abilities.
Weaknesses: Aggie's major weakness is also her strength. The dead often seem more real than the living, and can be quite a distraction. She also tends to unconsciously raise dead when she has not used that side of her powers recently. The longer she doesn't use the abilitys over the dead, the worse it gets. She has no guards against mind probes, or much in the way of defensive magics. Her fear of the dead also does not help.
Weaponry: Aggie does not have any specific weaponry expertise, other than daggers, but she knows the body, and how to damage it, with and without killing.
