Past & Future
Crystal Valley hasn't been around very long.  We started in 98` with New Zealands, and then completely stopped until the spring of 2000 when we got a few Mini Lops.  As I was serching the web on more Mini Lop clubs and breeders, I came upon a French Lop website.  That was it!  I just knew I had to have one, maybe not to breed, but just to have one.  So I got Cadbury.  Now, she's not the best represenitive, personality wise, but she is out of good stock.  But after showing her a few times, I decided that I wanted to breed Frenchies!  I also decided that there are enough Mini Lop breeders around, and that even though it's a nice breed, I should just go into French Lops, and that it would also help me to focus particularly on that breed, and maybe do better.
Well, as for Crystal Valley's future, Who knows!  I am really excited about starting my French Lop breeding program!  I am hoping to add a fawn buck to the herd, and in the spring a couple more does!
Update as of 2/10/01:
I have found a couple breeders in my area, and I have also found a breeder in Oregon (Joy Ekstrom) who will be coming through Indiana to go to the Holland Lop Nationals in May.  When he comes through, I'd like to purchase some of his French Lops!  I have a link to his site on my
French Lops page.
