It was a breezy, sunny Saturday. The kind of day that you pray for, it was a perfect day. There was only one problem with it. Summer Break has almost ended. At the end of summer there is a feeling of tragedy around because only one thing can come: school. This can make the day even better for some kids; they get to see their friends once again after the long break. Though for other kids it can only mean studying, reports, homework, and no free time.

Bring! Bring! Bring! The annoying tone of the alarm clock sounded throughout the room. A moan rose from under the tasseled covers of the bed in the corner.  A bulge from under the covers rose up and began to take form. A young boy emerged as he sat up and got out from under the sheets. He was in his early teen years. His strait blonde hair was stuck to the side of his head in a complete mess. He wore blue and red wrinkled plaid pajamas. In this condition, and even with it being such an early hour in the morning, he still had a positive aura surrounding him.

He swung his legs off the bed and placed his feet firmly on the ground. After rubbing his eyes for a few moments he reached over to his nightstand and turned off the alarm. "Six o'clock on a Saturday morning. It's too early for anyone in their right mind to be up." He grumbled and stood up. "The first day of school will be here soon. Why does mom want me to wake up so early? When schools starts I'll be able to wake up on my own." He fell back on the bed and pulled the pillow over his head.

"Are you up Shakou? You'll be late to school everyday at this rate!" A voice called from downstairs.

"Yes, Mother!" He shouted back down, agitated because he was already up, especially so early in the morning. Shakou forced himself to get out of bed. He threw the covers on the floor so he would not trick himself into 'just five more minutes'.

Shakou walked out of his room and down the dull-lighten hall to a white door on the far left side. He quietly cracked the door open and peaked in. Shakou looked kindly on his little sister and smiled, forgetting any anger still in him. She had shinning blonde hair and blue eyes like him. Shakou gently shut the door and turned around to walk back down the hall.

He turned into a room on the opposite side of his room. It was the bathroom. He felt for the switch on the wall and walked in. As he flicked up the switch the room illuminated and he could see the elegant cloud paint technique on the wall. The walls were complemented with a set of light blue towels and white tile. The room was a very comforting sight to see in the beginning of the morning.

Shakou looked into the mirror to glance at the wreck he was in. Shakou almost jumped back when he saw his image. His crumpled hair looked as if it hadn't been washed in days when in reality it was washed only a day ago.

He pulled back the curtain to the shower and leaned over to switch on the water. Hot water poured out from the faucet until he lifted the switch and it began to run out from the showerhead. Shakou leaned back up and pulled the curtain closed. He unbuttoned his pajama shirt and dropped it on the floor. He then pulled off his pajama pants and removed his under garments. He slipped behind the curtain and washed himself. Shakou quickly shampooed and conditioned his hair and then switched off the water.

He came out from behind the curtain and pulled a towel off the wooden hanger. He dried his body and wrapped the light-blue towel around himself. Turning to a half mirror above the sink he pulled at its side. The mirror opened to reveal a medical cabinet. Shakou picked up his comb and brushed through his hair. He returned the comb and shut the mirror. As he turned to leave he slipped upon the wet tile and crashed to the ground, landing on his head. "Damn." He cursed to himself and rubbed the spot where he fell.

Shakou stood up and left the room. He returned into his own room where he switched on a black stereo system and turned to some classical music. The notes awoke his senses yet relaxed him for a new day. The notes danced around him. He could see them as he closed his eyes.

Today he would meet up with his best friend, Mukiau, and they would go to the mall. The latest Sailor V game would be released today and if they wanted a copy they would have to arrive early.

Shakou choose and slipped on a pair of blue jeans and then tightened them with a black belt. He picked out a solid-black short-sleeved shirt and put it on. He then grabbed a white button-up shirt and pulled that on over his other shirt.

He was about to begin making his bed when he heard a faint noise. The noise grew louder until it was a full rumble! The radio started to fuzz out and everything began to shake. All the nick-knacks and various junk fell of the dressers. The house seemed almost to sway with the quake! But there was NEVER an earthquake on the Eastern Coast!  Shakou couldn't ever remember one.

He darted toward the window and pulled up the blinds. A bright light shot through and blinded him. The sun shouldn't be up, even this early in the morning, he thought. As they adjusted his eyes widened. A giant burning ball streaked across the sky right above the treetops! The object was covered in flames and almost seemed to scorch the sky because of the bright red backdrop.

He stared into the sky as if he were in a trance. His mind drifted and everything became a swirling mist of white that clouded his mind and everything around him.

                                                                   *~*~*~*

Shakou stood alone in front of a temple in ruin. The sky around was blackened, covered in clouds making everything dark, almost like night. Shakou's raised a hand to feel his aching head. He jumped back as his fingers graced his skin. His hand felt wet, almost slimey. He slowly brought his hand down and found blood. He looked down to find his whole body was covered in cuts and scratches. His skin was dirty and his hair was torn from his scalp in tuffs.

Sections of the temple's walls had fallen and windows were shattered. Only bits and pieces of stained glass was left in the windows that still remained. Gray bricks lay across the ground from the fallen temple. As Shakou walked he stepped carefully so he would not trip or step on any other survivors. He walked with a small limp but that did not bother him. He looked down and stepped over person after person, each with scorched skin or a puddle of blood under them. "The meteoroid did all of this?" he whispered in disbelief.

Shakou came to one body and stood in shock. A little old lady lay on the ground dead, in her arms she clasped a small infant. It was so small it was probably a newborn. Though these people were not burnt, not even bleeding. They did not die from the heat blast. Somehow they survived. He concluded they must have choked from smoke inhalation. Some of the smoke still floated through the air but it was bearable. Shakou felt a burning sensation in his throat. It was so disturbing that everyone was killed, even the helpless. He felt as the bile raised up his throat. He could not keep it in. He doubled over and let it spew out on the ground.

The breeze became a wind that only brought the smell of burning flesh to his nostrils. He tried to take comfort in the quiet but even that did not help him. He squatted to the ground and sat. Bringing up his knees he leaned his head on them and cried in disbelief. He couldn't believe this had happened, it was impossible!

Shakou finally stood up and walked. He seemed to walk for miles and found nothing. Buildings lay on the ground, fire was caught to anything flammable, and people lay on the ground dead. Everywhere it was the same. How come he was the only one alive? That was all Shakou could think. "Why spare my life over everyone's?"

Shakou looked up toward the black sky, his eyes filled with tears.  "
Because you are the one, Shakou. The one that can stop this from happening." The voice was very familiar to him. He looked up at the source of the voice and caught sight of a shadowed figure.

It was in the shape of a man with a long flowing cape. The boy stood right infront of him but showed no face. He was covered in darkness. Though this was a spooky figure it brought comfort to Shakou's aching heart and body.

"Who are you, and what do you mean stop this from happening? How can I stop something that already happened?" Shakou asked and stopped his tears.

     "
I am your guardian, Shakou. And I have and always will be with you. I came here to warn you of what can happen."

"What's with this 'can' stuff. I Saw the meteoroid hit the Earth will my own eyes! People are dead and I am the only one left." Shakou said and began to well up with tears again but he would not allow it.

     "
What you see around you is only a possibility. If you do not fight then this will happen."

"Fight who?" Shakou whimpered and hid his face.

     "
That you must find on your own, Shakou. Listen and listen closely." He paused for a moment and waited until Shakou was all ears. "There is others on this planet that can help you. You must assemble your team before you can win. Without there help it is impossible."

"Who are they? Where can I find them?" Shakou asked, puzzled.

     "
I have sent HIM to find you. Once HE is there everything will become clear. Just keep your mind clear and your eyes peeled for the Turquoise Moon."

"The Turquoise Moon? The Moon is white." Shakou questioned as the figure disappeared. "Wait! Don't go! How can I find you again?"

     "
I am always with you, Shakou. Remember, I am always with you." The voice said and was gone.

     "Wait!" Shakou screamed.

                                                                   *~*~*~*

Shakou found himself back in his room staring at the same flaming object! He shook off the weird visions and tried to focus on this problem. The house shook like a train had crashed into it! Shakou stood in awe, as the shaking became more violent! He heard the scream of his little sister but couldn't move to comfort her. His body wouldn't move even though he commanded it to.

The burning mass resembled a comet but had no tail, plus it was way to close to the ground! He thought it, whatever it was, would crash right into town! But the object kept on flying down the skyline until it was out of sight. The sky returned to being a normal blue and the rocking of the house slowed to a halt. "What if it was a UFO?" He squealed and darted down the hall grabbing up his little sister. The whole house was in a wreck from this catastrophe; everything laid on the ground, nothing on its stand.

He sprinted down the stairs and into the den. Shakou plopped down on the couch next to his mom who listened intently to the news. Her light blonde hair, almost white, made a serene look around her that comforted Shakou even more then it did Sounyu, Shakou's little sister.  She had stopped her crying and now sniffled, though frequently.

"Scientists believe it to be a small meteoroid caught in the Earth's atmosphere." They watched the anchorman as he briefed on the crash. "The meteoroid broke into two main pieces when it entered our atmosphere. One landed near the North Pole while the other landed in the Arctic Ocean near Alaska. It seems this space material has come from the sun's orbit. How it got there, but even more how it got loose is still a mystery. No other data has been collected at this time but we will keep you posted. Now in other news . . ." Shakou's mother switched off the television and stood up.

"Okay, go make your bed, Mukiau will be here soon." She said changing the subject, "You know you're actually on time today, this is the way to get up all year." She said and smiled as if nothing had happened.

"Make your bed? There's a worldwide tragedy and you would think of going about as if nothing happened?" Shakou said in an accusing voice.

"What tragedy? So a small little meteoroid hit the Earth, it's not like the Earth hasn't ever been hit before by some space rock." She tried to reassure him.

"Ever hear of dinosaurs? You know how they ended right?!" Shakou said back with wide eyes as he thought of the end of mankind.

The bell rang from the front door and Shakou's mother walked over toward it. "Now Mukiau is here. It's time for you to go and you haven't made your bed. You better hurry up and make it if you want to get to the mall." She opened the door and let the boy in. "Hello Mukiau. How are you?" She asked.

He was about Shakou's height, maybe just a little taller. He had goldenrod hair that was cut in a simple bowl style. Mukiau also had bright blue pools for eyes, just like Shakou's entire family. Mukiau wore a simple orange shirt with a black vest and pants. Shakou then realized what shirt he was wearing; he'd seen it before. On the back was a giant picture of Sailor V making the v-for-victory sign and blowing a kiss. Mukiau was more obsessed with her then Shakou but he didn't like people to know. That's why he wore the vest: to cover the picture.  "I'm good, Ms. Tsukino. How about you?" Mukiau asked in return.

"I'm just fine, thank you." She replied as Shakou walked toward the door.

"What's up, man?" Shakou asked and Mukiau smiled briefly. "What's bugging you?" He asked noticing Mukiau look a little pale.

"Nothing, just this meteoroid thing. It scared me half-to-death." Mukiau said.

"Me too! I thought I was going to die!" Shakou said and smiled then chuckled about himself. "You think its aliens too, don't you?" Shakou whispered as if he had a secret.

"Right. Sure, Shakou." Mukiau couldn't help but laugh at his friends and his always making a mountain out of an anthill.

Shakou pulled down the doorknob slowly hoping his mom wouldn't notice. "Shakou Tsukino! What do you think you're doing? I thought I told you to make your bed!" She barked the second he touched the handle.

"Mom! If we don't leave now we won't get there on time and if we don't get there on time we won't get a copy of the game! And if I don't get a copy of the game then I'll be sad, and you don't want a sad son. I can make my bed later." Shakou tried to act sly but it never worked.

"I don't care. You should be up!" She yelled back. "How are you gonna make it in life if you can't even make your bed?" She loved him dearly but had to yell at him to make him listen to her.

"But but but." Fake tears welled up in Shakou's eyes as he spoke, "I wanna go!" He finished and let the tears roll.

Mukiau knew this game all to well. They played it ever since they were little. It was time for him to play his part. "Please, Ms. Tsukino." He made a puppy dog face and also let the tears fall from his eyes.

"Fine, but be back here by dark!" She replied knowing they wouldn't give up.

"Thank you!" They yelled at once and they tears immediately stopped and the two left out the door.

     "
Don't forget the Turquoise Moon, Shakou. Don't forget." Shakou heard in his mind but only paused for a brief moment.

                                                                  *~*~*~*

In the depths of the Arctic a large cloud of smoke rose. It could be seen from miles away. This steam came from the very object that awoke the world only a few moments ago. Even the icy water couldn't cool this 'meteoroid'.

This mass of space rock grew hotter and hotter until its bright red glow changed the color of the entire ocean! The water looked like a great battle had just taken place and blood had spilled into it, poisoning the water. The light tint of red gave an eerie aura to the area.

As the waves of the water moved back and forth the space rock began moving back and forth with it. The swirling motion of the water pulled apart the rock like it was a mound of clay. Though still hot the rock stretched apart and became thinner and wider. The rock slowly dispersed into the water like it was a liquid. It was like molten lava moving through the water! The water mixed with this magma and stained the ocean into a steamy red, the way it must be like in hell. The water was redder than blood itself!

From the center of this clouded red water came a faint green, sinister green, light. This light shone like a small gem in the ocean. It slowly grew changing the water's color with it. The light grew until the ocean had changed from blood red to totally emerald green. This emerald light grew stronger until it was like the ocean was under its control.

As if taking commands the water swirled in a great whirlpool. The light suddenly stopped shinning but the water continued to obey. The ocean had returned to its normal color except it had a small hint of gray in it now. The molten rock had been cooled by the green light and was hardening quickly. Soon it would just be fragments of left over rock. The whirlpool reached far down to the bottom of the ocean. As it did the hardening rock began to be pulled toward the whirlpool's center.

As the melted rock reached the whirlpool it flew out from the water and splattered across the sandy ocean bottom. This molten rock was now darker in color, almost black, and was the consistency of mud. The mass of melted rock grew and grew until all of it had fallen to the center of the whirlpool. The mound of gooey magma was hundreds of feet tall and just as wide.

The mound began to bubble up and down, its heat was returning again. As the bubbles burst a small fragment of light from inside shone through. It was the same green light from before. The light shot through the mess and took control of it, like it did the water.

The sticky magma began to rise up and take shape. Openings appeared through the mound as it stretched apart. A rectangular base formed at the bottom and tall columns shot forth from that. Strands of magma defied gravity and flew into the air, wrapping around the mass. Holes opened in the columns as they stretched themselves, becoming taller and rounder. As it kept changing it began to look like a fortress. The columns were actually towers, just as their holes were windows. The rectangular base was the main floor of this thing. Though this black fort was not done forming yet. It became an impenetrable fort as spikes shot out all over. The walls became unable to clime as the sides became perfectly smooth.

Loud screeches could be heard from inside. Small holes ripped through the walls as small demons shot out. They flew into the air, almost in a dance. The finally landed on the towers and they slowly hardened and became statues watching over the area. The whole thing began to harden as the cold wind from the opening of the whirlpool reached it. As it finally came to a stop it could be seen that this was no mold of clay, but an impenetrable castle!

The same eerie light surrounded the castle and took control again. The ground began to shake and the castle lifted off the ground. The castle rose into the air, out from the still swirling whirlpool. Just as it cleared the edge of the whirlpool the water collapsed in and the ocean returned to normal. The castle settled back down on the water and it changed from a charcoal black to a snowy white. The castle froze the water around it and a sheet of ice sprung forth covering the castle and all ways of entry and exit. The ice sheet grew in size until it was just a mountain of ice, the castle not even seen. This iceberg began floating through the water unnoticed. It had taken a perfect disguise.

                                                                   *~*~*~*

Inside the icy fortress plans were already being made. In the largest room of the castle stood every member of this alien court. The large crowd of aliens contained freaks of all kind. These monsters ranged in all types of looks. Some so ugly and disgusting they were indescribable. Others were so beautiful they looked as angels and seemed as if they had no reason to even be there. There were creatures of all colors and shapes some resembled even humans while others looked like ogres we create in our fairy tales.

There was only one thing common in all these beings. They were evil, pure evil. If one even accidentally touched another a great fight would begin where powers shot forth and groups of them would die at once in these petty battles. The group created a loud roar of commotion. Nothing could be heard but a loud rumble of bickering and fighting. Howls and screeches erupted from beasts as others ripped them apart.

     "
Quiet!!!" The angry voice sounded from everywhere but nowhere. It had no embodiment, just air. The furious tone stopped the creatures in a heartbeat and they all came to silence. At once they crouched and bowed their heads.

Four separate whirls of flowers spun about like tiny tornadoes at the front of the hall. Each of them was made up of a different blossom: buttercups, lilies, red roses, and violets. The flowers became so thick they were like a veil. They suddenly dropped down to the ground and disappeared. Standing in their places was four women; each represented by the color of their flower.

The woman represented by the buttercups, the yellow flower, stood to the far left. She seemed to be youngest and most serene of the group. She was small and meek though stood with a sense of authority.  Her hair was wavy and as yellow as the sun. It came down to just below her shoulders. It was pushed back from her face with a simple black headband. Her eyes were a stunning green color. She wore a gray suit jacket that stopped at her waist. The jacket had one yellow cord that lay across her chest. She also wore gray tight shorts. She had yellow buttons on the coat and she wore yellow wrist cuffs. She had yellow stockings and a light-yellow cape.

The lily, the white flower, represented the woman to the right of her. This woman had long snowy white hair that reached her middle back. Her hair was pulled back with a simple hair tie and was in a high ponytail. She had silver eyes and a light complexion. The lady stood with perfect posture and her shoulders back. She wore the same suit except for the cape, stockings, wrist cuffs, and buttons were white. She had two white cords that are hooked to one button and lay across her chest.

The red rose represents the next woman in progression. Her hair was a fire red and cut short in a boyish style. Her bangs were strait and came just to her eyebrows. Her black eyes were like coal and her skin was tan like she was always under the sun. She stood with folded arms and stared out into the crowd with hate. She also wore the matching suit with her accent color as red. She had three red cords on her uniform.

The final woman, obviously the eldest of them all was represent by the violet. She had sky blue hair with faint streaks of purple. Her hair was let free around her head. She has bright violet eyes that seemed almost to glow in the dark. She had a very light complexion, almost like snow. She stood with squinted eyes. She also wore the same uniformly suit. Her accented color was blue. She had four cords of her uniform.

The eldest spoke forth, "You all are a disgrace to the Dark Kingdom! You should be preparing for domination but all you can do is fight with each other!" She yelled at them and immediately started a riot. The minions raged and screamed forth as they tried to get toward her.

One of the minions, closest to her snarled, "Vauxite, you're the ones that's a disgrace! Out of all power of you generals you couldn't even release us from that horrible planet until now! After all these centuries the rest of the Dark Kingdom has probably moved to another star system, leaving us behind!" the minion lunged forth at her with its razor blade claws stretched forth!

"Stupid." She laughed to herself and raised a hand. Pointing a finger at the beast, ever so close to her, a blast of energy was shot loose. The beast was thrown back in the other direction and torn apart. The minions around pushed back and forth trying to pick up the remains and stuff them in their greedy mouths. "You all are so stupid! I should kill you all now and show you how much power we generals really have!" She raised her arms above her head a giant black sphere of energy collected. Wind swept across the room tossing everything around.

The other three generals aboard the castle just smiled; they hated the minions just as much as Vauxite. They were a waste of time, yet the generals hated doing dirty work so they raised these things. The minions responded to this threat with an attack of their own. A wave of attacks flew forth toward the front of the room where Vauxite still powered up.

"Stop this now!" That evil voice rang through the room again. Vauxite quickly powered down and all the attacks throughout the room dispersed. "How can we win with you idiots killing each other!" Thick gray smog filled the room and gathered into a cloud at the front. The smog took the shape of a woman and it slowly faded into her. This woman wore a black armored skirt and top. Her red hair was cut short, perfect for battle. She had black eyes that were of almond shape. She had no whites in her eyes; they were all black, making it unable to tell which way she looked. White spikes protrude her skin on her arms and shoulders. The spikes were actually extensions of her skeleton that she smashed into others during battle. Around her neck she wore a necklace of finger bones from her dead opponents of the past. She wore a black crown composed of burnt bone. In the center was an obsidian stone, her favorite.  She was a fighting machine, unlike her elder sister that rather command the fights then take place in them.

The four generals kneeled out of respect and out of fear. Vauxite looked back quickly at the minions to see them all on the ground with their heads bowed and their hands waving up in down with praise.

The woman squatted down into the air, it looked as if she would fall but at the last moment a throne appeared beneath her. All sorts of bones and skulls were on the throne as little decorations. On the arm rests two skulls sat with their mouths open, a candle in each. "It was a disgusting place to be trapped for so long, but it is not the fault of any of us. We pledged our powers to Metallia and used them to release her. It took a long while to regenerate our powers and finally release us." She spoke with a loud voice. Her tone was one that a leader gives to get his troops ready to fight. "Now, Vauxite." Her head snapped toward the leader of the generals. "If you ever try that again I will send you to Queen Metallia and see what she has to say about your misconduct." She said and grinned as Vauxite shivered at the thought of the evil queen.

"I made contact with Metallia." She said and paused for a moment. "She was glad we finally broke free and wants us to being our invasion immediately. It seems they lost the battle against the Moon and Earth Kingdom." She waited as the snarls of the minions quieted down. "Queen Serenity destroyed the army, sending all of them to the future and locking Metallia away. Metallia would've broken free long a but...she lost all her power in the process of reawakening the other generals and Beryl...how I despise Beryl!" She yelled and then dropped to a whisper. "I will not let Beryl out do me!" She spoke to herself. "Metallia choose Beryl to lead the invasion on the Moon and Earth instead of me. I'll show her who's stronger." She finished her conversation with herself and spoke again out loud. "Now give me a report."

The youngest of the generals stood and held her hand over her heart in a fist. She bowed her head before she spoke. "Queen Bismuth, the castle landed safely and is disguised as an iceberg. It is undetectable by any technology." She looked up for a response.

"Is that all, Hilairite?" Queen Bismuth asked and crossed her legs. This was not a good sign; Queen Bismuth only used names when she was irritated.

Hilairite panicked and came up with more. "I have already created a plan for getting enormous amounts of energy for the Dark Kingdom. It's even enough to totally re-power Queen Metallia!" she said the worst thing possible.

Queen Bismuth's anger disappeared and became all ears. This might be her chance to out do her sister. "I'm listening, tell me more."

"Well..." her heart pounded. 'I'm dead', is all she could think. "...it's confidential. I can only tell you I will need plenty of minions to send across the Earth." 'At least I can have all the minions under my control. If worst comes to worst I'll have to try to protect myself from her with them.' she thought.

"Whatever you need is yours. I expect a report in twenty-four hours." Queen Bismuth said. She was a very impatient woman. Hilairite stood in place, unable to move. She almost wet herself. "Go!" Yelled Bismuth.

"Yes!" Hilairite squeaked and disappeared in a twirl of buttercups.

                                                                  *~*~*~*

Hilairite paced back and forth in her chambers. It was a well-lit room. The walls were white and the carpet yellow. She had a child-size bed with a yellow bedspread. Her room had white whicker furniture with glass tops that let you see down into the contents of the draws. Arranges of flowers covered the room, all of them, of course, we buttercups. It was her favorite flower and color. The smell of the flowers gave her room a pleasant fragrance. Why an evil general of this stature would have such a room is a puzzle.

Hilairite stopped at a wall and pounded her head into it over and over. "Why did I lie to Queen Bismuth? I don't even have any sort of plan." She stopped the self-mutilation and plopped upon her bed. She rested her head on the pillow and reached her arm under it. Hilairite pulled a Sailor V doll out and kissed it on the cheek. Tears began to run down her cheeks, running her make-up.

She turned over and looked up at the ceiling to pray. Though she had no real belief in a god she decided if there's one she might as well say sorry for all the wrong things she'd done. As she opened her eyes she caught sight of a black rectangular object. A flat-screened television hung from the ceiling, it was the only thing that wasn't a soft color in her room.

"Might as well have fun on my last day to live." She immediately forgot the prayers and switched on the TV. "News, News, Weather, News, News, News, Talk Show, Talk Show." She said to herself as she looked for something good. She flipped the channel and a young girl wearing a strange
fuku was on. "Oh my favorite show! If Bismuth knew I watched this she would kill me!" Hilairite said and sang along with the Sailor V them song.

The show cut to a commercial. "Sailor V is sponsored by Cool Games Products." The commercial said and a little movie of Sailor V fighting came on. "The latest Sailor V game is released today at all major video game companies across the world. Get one before they're all sold out!" The announcer said.

Hilairite screamed for joy, "That's it! Everyone loves Sailor V!" she stood on her bed and kissed the TV screen. "I love you!"
