That Summer Breeze

In that summer breeze,
which blows in my mind.
Are those childhood days of ease.

Where we would climb trees,
our invincibility, never undermined,
in that summer breeze.

Even with bruises and skinned knees,
stopping never spring to mind.
Are those childhood days of ease.

We never heard our parents pleas.
Be careful always slipped our mind,
in that summer breeze.

As adults we forget to seize.
The carefree fun we left behind.
Are those childhood days of ease.

Looking back Ive found the keys.
To unlock the childs mind.
In that summer breeze,
Are those childhood days of ease.
