Rhyming Verse
Black Wedding

Upon his death
she began to cry.
The pains so great
she only wants to die.

In the tattered dress
of ivory and lace.
Dewdroplets fall
from her face.

A shattered glass
after one last embrace.
The years pass slow
in this empty place.

Now in their house
she still sits alone.
No more laughter around
sorrow and grief known.

A happy life, now debris
from a fated wedding day,
that was not meant to be
as time fades away...
I Weep

As I lay me down to sleep.
In the silence, when I begin to weep.

Now you lay on a distant shore.
To be my love, never more.

Once peace did reign in the world.
Now but a blur and faster it twirled.

To many lost and emotional scarred.
In this war even the land is marred.

But in my dreams your memory I'll keep.
In the silence, when I begin to weep.
Life: a shadow of death
Which now has ended
With my last breath
My soul has ascended

Where whispers on the wind
And muffled voices
Are desires of the mind
And unspoken choices

To a whole new level
Of peace and enchantment
In which, I will forever revel
In the land of contentment

My dreams may be fulfilled
At the slightest whim
The heavenly life I build
Will never dim

With you by my side
And a love that's true
Nothing will be denied
In regards to me and you
