Checkerboard Illusions and Rainbow Realities

Life is no longer black and white.
As in my days of checkerboard illusions.
A childhood of ease and abandon
met with life's stresses and strife.

No more shades of gray when uncertainties arise.
Placed instead in front of me a array of colors
that show lifes uncertainties and dreams.
In these the days of my rainbow realities.

The Twilight Hour

In the twilight hour
After spring rains, summers heat,
Autumns storms and winters snows
I find myself alone
Standing in the long grass
Under the silver willows
The scarlet roses bloom
In the moons afterglow
Stars shining in the darkness
While dreams are weaved
In magic and fantasy
On the evening breeze
In the last moment
Just before daybreak
A breath exhaled
As I float into the afterlife
A Sweet Dream

A sweet dream takes me away
into the mist and realms of fantasy.
Under the mystic moon, where well exist.
To never again to be parted from your side
As long as, were together in a loving embrace.
Our life will be endlessly blessed with a kiss.
