All who made me feel like I belonged: 7th/8th grade: Karen W., Lesley F., Joyce M., Mike O., Jon G., Jeff T., High School: Lesley F., Don G., John S., Sam B., Tom S., Lorraine A., Ann J., Sharon B., Vinny F., Chris P., Debbie M., Joan K., Judy M. My Villa crowd: Leanne G., Domingo A., Eric S., John M., Mark S., Karey K. (rest in peace and God bless you, dude) Special notes: Jill, once my very best friend, it’s sad we had a falling out 19 years ago but you were one of the best friends I had in grade school Leanne, you were my closest friend for awhile, you never turned against me even when Jill and I were no longer friends Karen, who was always my friend, who never let anything come between us (except once and we fixed that, didn’t we), who helped to release my sense of adventure Lesley, always my truest and dearest friend, even today; even now, when we lost touch for 15 years, you are still my best friend Mark, (“Ozzy”!) you were my very best friend when I almost lost touch with the world. I think you understood, and I know you realized that as long as you loved someone else, it wasn’t fair for us to pretend to be something we weren’t. I’m grateful we were so close as friends. Bill, even though I didn’t paint such a great picture of you, you were the first guy who actually loved me. When we met up again so many years later, I felt that if your life wasn’t in turmoil and my (now ex) wasn’t so jealous, we could have been friends. Rock on. Kenny M. - you were there, you dragged me away from a mess for a day so I could regroup. You inspired me to disappear when things got beyond my control. I lost the beer mug you gave me in the fire earlier this year, but I kept it for 15 years since you gave it to me. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it meant something to me. Debbie K. - you were strength for me, sanity, a wonderful friend. You were always there and never judgmental. Cathy V. and Sue V. - sisters and friends, each other’s and mine. You’re great. Mike O. - Friends in grade school, friends so many years later. You made me laugh and forget a lot of crap. Chuck - thank you for saving me. You don’t realize even now how much you meant to me. Although our friendship never went where I wanted it to, it was very special to me. You rescued me from pain, from myself. The song you used to sing to me is in my music files and forever embedded in my heart. I hope you’re well, and happy, and that you have someone to love. You made me laugh and picked me up when I was down. DDD ~ Band by Force D-Street We be JAMMMIIINNNNN!!!!! and hold on to the DREEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM All of you are in my heart.
