Sailormoon/Tsukino Usagi
Name: Tsukino Usagi

Age: 14

Birthdate: June 30th, 1978

Bloodtype: O-

Likes: Eating, sleep, playing video games

Dislikes: School, dentists, work

Favorite Food: Usagi loves ice cream and cake the best; but generally, anything that's considered junk food and unhealthy suits her just fine.

Least Favorite Food: Carrots, or anything that is healthy; it is amazing how Usagi manages to stay thin with her eating style.

Favorite Color: Pink

Hobbies: Usagi enjoys eating (of course), shopping, and playing video games at Crown Arcade.  She often goes there for a chance to see and exchange a few words with the manager of the arcade -- Motoki -- as well, as he is pretty cute.

Future Dreams: Usagi has no occupational or educational goals.  All she desires to be is a bride to someone she loves.  She is very idealistic and a hopeless romantic.

Family Situation: Usagi lives in a dynamic family; her parents are still together, and she also has a younger brother, Shingo.  Her parents love her dearly; Usagi's father (Kenji-papa) may be a bit protective at times (especially when it involves the male gender), but Usagi's mother (Ikuko-mama) is pretty laid-back.  However, okaa-san also seems to be the one who disciplines Usagi more whenever the girl tries to do something crazy (like stealing window curtains to make a wedding dress, for one).  Regardless, the Tsukino household by Japanese standards is considered lenient.

Living Situation: Extremely comfortable.  For a family in Japan to own a 2-story building is considered upper-class.  The Tsukino household is in Minato-ku, which isn't a bad section of town to live in, either.

Social Life: Usagi has an extremely bubbly and outgoing personality, which naturally draws people to her.  Usagi lacks the "coolness" to be considered popular, but she is well-liked by most of her peers.  Older students tend to treat her as a younger sister due to her innocence and naivete.  Part of the reason why Usagi relates so easily with people is probably because she is too naive to judge others -- for example, initial prejudices toward Ami and Makoto in her school never instilled any influence on Usagi.

Appearance: Standing at a mere 4'11", Tsukino Usagi has large blue eyes, blonde hair, and an almost perpetually happy grin on her face.  Her body is still childish, barely beginning to look feminine -- but in Sailor attire that's a different story.  Of course, Usagi's hair is always done in that trademark "odango style" -- two buns on each side with a long trail of blonde strands billowing behind her like the drooping ears of a rabbit.

When not in school attire, Usagi dresses in conservative but "cute" outfits; clothes that do not make her look mature nor flatter her shape but rather emphasizes her purity, her innocence.  Also, Usagi never lets her hair down -- the only time she does is for sleep, or when she is majorly depressed and considering cutting her hair (in many cultures, women cut their hair after a traumatic crisis, as a rite of passage).

Personality: Usagi is energetic, innocent, and sweet.  She is the epitome of optimism -- almost nothing ever gets her down, at least not for long.  At times, she is prone to fits of annoyance and anger (especially in regards to test scores and certain annoying males), but most of the time she is a "brilliant ray of sunshine."  This is not to say that Usagi is completely without fault; sometimes she is quite stubborn and would engage in child-like spats with her younger brother, Shingo.  When rubbed the wrong way or insulted, she would not hesitate to retailiate in her own raspberry-tongue way in return.

At times, Usagi is a crybaby.  Whenever she is stuck in a hard situation where she is forced to fend for herself, Usagi crumbles easily to pressure and would start bawling like a little kid.  With this in mind, it's hard to imagine how such a girl could be a savior for the world -- but in truth, Usagi has a heart of gold.

She is empathetic, sympathetic, and compassionate; her optimism prevents her from giving up on others.  She believes in in the innate good of all, and that hope never dies.  She would fight to stand for what she believes in, and would gladly sacrifice herself for those she loves.  It is this passion and drive that makes her suitable to be a Sailorsenshi.
History: Usagi's real identity is Princess Serenity, heir to the throne of the Moon Kingdom during the Silver Millennium more than a thousand years ago.  Her mother, Queen Serenity, was the ruler of the center of an era of complete utopianism and peace.  During the Silver Millennium, almost all the planets in the Milky Way are allied with the Moon Kingdom -- except for Earth, the youngest and most immature planet of all.  It was still in a state of evolution and development, and as such, Queen Serenity forbade any to set foot on Earth without permission, so that the planet could develop at its own rate and without intervention of other kingdoms.  Because of this, the relationship between Earth and Moon had always been nearly inexistent, almost strained.

That, though, did not stop the young curious princess from sneaking to Earth to explore.  It was then that the adventurous Tsuki no Hime met the Prince of Chikyuu, Endymion.  The two fell in love shortly; he was dashing, handsome, and gentle; she was carefree, graceful, a refreshing change from the restraints of the masculine court life of Earth.  The lovers tried hard to keep their affair a secret; but with such protective guardians, it was immensely difficult to do so.  The guardians of Serenity, the Sailorsenshi, were more wary of the relationship than the more seasoned, knowing generals; but in any case, all parties involved tried the keep the matter under complete cover.

However, the Sailorsenshi and the generals were not the only one to know of the affair.  On Earth, a seeress called Beryl knew of it as well.  She was immensely fond of Endymion, and immensely jealous of Serenity.  That jealousy became hate the longer she watched Serenity and Endymion focus their love and attention solely on each other.  Forging an alliance with the dark power called Metallia, Beryl soon usurped the powers of the Earth courts, and to Endymion's horror and sorrow, "recruited" his own dearest friends as well.  Endymion fled to the Moon, where under the disguise of a masked man in tuxedo, warned his love about Beryl and the impending battle that was to follow.

As soon as the couple shared their last kiss, the final battle began.  For all the grandeur of the Moon Kingdom, Serenity's usually peaceful armies were not ready to battle the bloodthirsty troops of Metallia.  Many would fall, including the Sailorsenshi, the guardians of the Princess.

As Princess Serenity watched worriedly from the balcony, Beryl suddenly appeared in front of her, fully bent on destroying her rival for good.  Just at the nick of time, Endymion blocked the attack -- with his own body.

Princess Serenity screamed in horror, as Endymion's lifeless body fell into her arms.  She was vaguely aware of the fact that Venus rushed past her to embed her own sword deep into Beryl's heart; all she thought about was the life she would now lead without the one who made her truely live.  With that thought, Serenity picked up Endymion's sword and killed herself.

Queen Serenity, noting the deaths of all those close to her -- especially the suicide of her own daughter -- tearfullly resolved to unleash the full power of the Ginzuishou, to seal the Dark Kingdom for as long as she can.  With her dying breath, she sealed Metallia and all her minions away, and sent the souls of those of the Moon Kingdom to Earth, where she prayed that the Sailorsenshi would rise again and use their second chance to beat Beryl for good.

But one thing was changed.

She gave her daughter the powers of a senshi as well.

A thousand years later, a babe by the name of Tsukino Usagi was born.  "Rabbit of the Moon..." she will one day be found by a mysterious feline called Luna, her powers would be realized, and she would lead the reborn group of Sailorsoldiers -- as the bishoujo senshi, Sailormoon.
