| Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word representing universal life energy, the energy which is all around us. It is derived from rei, meaning "free passage" or "transcendental spirit" and ki, meaning "vital life force energy" or " universal life energy". Reiki involves the transfer of energy from practitioner to patient to enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself through the balancing of energy. Reiki utilizes specific techniques for restoring and balancing the natural life force Reiki is universal love and healing for humans and their pets in the form of a natural system of healing encompassing body, mind and emotion. It is a pathway to personal and spiritual growth, possessing wisdom and compassion for �the greatest good�. Life Force Energy runs through pathways called meridians in the body. When the meridians are blocked, illness both physical and emotional can result. |
| Reiki energy is a very intelligent energy that "knows" where it is needed most When you have been attuned to Level 1 you can immediately use the energy to heal yourself, other people, your pets, plants and just about anything that needs some healing energy. To enable you to send distance or remote healing it necessary to be attuned to the distance healing symbol in Level 2. Reiki works brilliantly both "hands on" and distance as do all attunements sent during the learning process. If you feel that you would like to teach your own students to this beautiful healing modality then you should consider taking the Masters certificate. Certificates are supplied at each level. I use Reiki every day in many, many ways...I even Reiki the letters I send and my pets just love it. Reiki energy is not tiring to use as it is the energy from the Universe that you are using, and not your own. In fact you benefit as much as the recipient and it is a good idea to give yourself a Reiki treatment every day. |
