| Sc. 2 Narrator: Varuna shot out of bed. Varuna: Oh my god! It was that dream again. I haven't had that one in a long time. Narrator: Varuna showered and got dressed. She looked at the mark on her ankle. It was two zig zag lines, one on top of the other. Varuna: That stupid dream. It always reminds me of this thing. Then of course I think of the times it was glowing that green color. Narrator: Varuna drank a glass of orange juice, and left for school. Varuna: *to herself* Im really surprised that Sarah doesnt ask me about the mark. She's the only one who knows that Ive seen it glow and yet, she acts like its nothing. Omni: Hello. Varuna: Hi. Omni: You're Varuna right? Varuna: Yes, who are you? Omni: Im Omni. Ive been looking for you. Varuna: Why would you be looking for me? Omni: *smiling* Because you are one of the twelve. Varuna: One of the twelve? Narrator: Omni lifted one of Varuna's pant legs to reveal the mark. It was glowing a bright green. Omni: You, my dear, are Aquarius. One of the twelve guardians of Earth. Varuna: You're crazy! Omni: Sarah told me you were here, if you would just........... Varuna: How do you know Sarah?? Omni: She's Libra, another guardian. Now, if you'll just follow me, I can take you to headquarters. Narrator: Varuna dumbly followed Omni into the plain brick building across the street. |
