SNOW

Slow fell the snow
Gentle, white, pure
Settling, covering
The waiting ground
Coming with cold air
Touching ground, wanting
Place to settle.
Watching from my
Window, thinking of
“Special friend” also gentle,
Pure, beyond yet near
From place of light.
Choir of Gulls scatter
Cries into the vastness.
Yet more vast, places of
Eternity where, ever young
You dance far from pain,
From anguish walking in
Fields of blessing, family, angels
Adorn your presence in the holy life.
Dear Mum, so near in love’s joyful
Vibration, life is change yet still
Eternal, from where the endless is
You come, peace of my peace, joy of my joy,
“Set me as a seal upon thy heart,
As a seal upon thine arm: for love is
Strong as death.” “Joy shall come in the
Morning.” Snow came quietly, as
Holy ones gently leading you
To your home in spirit, linked
By love, “special friends” for
Longer than forever is.
