Crash Bandicoot The main character of the game series. Dubbed 'The Blunder from Downunder", Crash is a lovibly stupid marsupial. He was captured by Neo Cortex and experimented on - Cortex hoped that Crash could be the general of his army. The experiments failed, and Crash was literally thrown out (of a window). Crash's girlfriend, Tawna, was still in Cortex's grasp. Crash, not one to leave anyone behind (especially his girlfriend), went off to save the day.Of course, he did, but then the sequel came. Cortex tricked Crash in believing he had changed, and that he wanted to save the world, rather than destory it. Crash once again saved the day (with the help of some new friends). Then entered a new player - Uka Uka, the man (mask?) Cortex had been working for all these years. Uka Uka opened up the Time Twister, a time machine invented by Dr. N. Tropy. Uka Uka's plan was to gather the valuable Power Crystals (that Crash had collected in the last game) through out time. He failed (big surprised). Finally some peace and quiet, right? Wrong, the speed-crazed alien Nitros Oxide showed up, threatening to turn the planet into a giant parking lot if someone didn't beat him at racing. For the first time, Crash and Cortex truely worked together to save the world. There are other Crash games out there (Crash Bash, Wrath of Cortex, Crash's Big Adventure), but since they weren't made by Naughty Dog, they won't be covered here (I pretty much disowned Crash after Wrath of Cortex).
Coco Bandicoot Crash's brainy sister, Coco always has a solution to the problem. She's never without her trusty laptop. She pretty much replaced Tawna as the female in the second game. She helped Crash see through Cortex's deception in the second game, and you even got to play as her in the third. Most people seem to hate Coco; I don't know why, I personally like her.
Dr. Neo Cortex The main villian throughout the games. Cortex was mocked by the scientific community for his outragious ideas. Cortex, one for revenge, set out to take over the world with an army of marsupials -- blood-thristy marsupials! Cortex's plans started to go downhill the moment a little, orange bandicoot stepped into his lab. In WARPED we got to see the mask behind the man - Uka Uka.
Aku Aku Aku Aku is an acient witchdocter that helps Crash and Coco throughout their adventures. In the form of a mask, Aku Aku can take hits for the two. If you get three masks at the same time, you become invincible for a short amount of time. Aku Aku is the brother of Uka Uka. He's the 'light side' of the two.
Uka Uka The mastermind behind Cortex, Uka Uka is the evil brother of Aku Aku. He was locked away in a temple for eons until Cortex's space station crashed into the temple, releasing him (one of the few things Neo did right). Feared by even his brother, Uka Uka has an incredible amount of power and countless followers.
Polar The polar bear that give you a lift in Crash 2. He's not seen again until CTR, where you can actually play the little guy (as seen in the picture).
Pura Coco's pet tiger from WARPED. Like Polar, you are able to play him in CTR.
Baby-T The T-Red that Crash managed to hatch in WARPED. It came back with them to a present time. Appearenly they're not too afraid of the effect it'll have on time. Baby-T is the only one out of the three pets that you can't play in CTR (I guess his arms were too short to reach the wheel).
Dr. Nefarious Tropy The master of Time, and inventor of the Time Twister, Tropy is Uka Uka's right-hand man. He uses, for lack of a better word, a pitchfork as a weapon.
Tiny Tiger Tiny sort of replaces Koala Kong as the 'muscle-bound idiot' in the second game. Tiny knows only one thing, "Crush Crash!" Most of his attacks involve him trying to squash the bandicoot underfoot.
Dr. N. Gin Cortex's right-handman after he betrayed N. Brio. He has a missile lodged into his head as result of a horrible accedent. He's got countless mechs, all perfect for destroying little orange bandicoots. When he gets angry, the missile tends to reactivate.
Ripper Roo Once a highly educated kangaroo, Ripper was one of the first of Cortex's subject. Driven insane by the experiments, Ripper is never let out of his straightjacket. Watch out for his toenails.
Pinstripe Potoroo As the Dog's said it themselves, "Mr. Mafia...almost. More like the godfather crossed with a bologna sandwich: looks the part, but lacks real meat." Pinstripe is a gangster wannabe. His best friend is his machinegun.
The Komodo Brothers Joe (the tall one) and Moe (the not-so-tall one) are two more of Cortex's not-so-seccessfull experiments. They're less the smart, but not quite stupid. Joe is the 'brains' (if you want to call it that) of the two. He's also the one to make an appearence in CTR.
Papu Papu Saying that he's a 'big influence' would sound like a bad joke, but Papu Papu is the leader of a local village. He doesn't really know what's going on in the world. He does enjoy his sleep.
Nitros Oxide The main boss from CTR, Oxide is a speed-crazed alien who plays on turning Crash's world into a giant parking lot; unless someone can stop him, that is. He's a cheater and is not to be trusted.
DingoDile A cross between a dingo and a crocadile, Dingodile is a pyromaniac. He carries a huge flamethrower on his back and loves to burn things.
Fake Crash There are many stories about Fake Crash - That he was an old friend of Crash that got jealous and went to Cortex to get power, but ended up as a freak. Whatever the stories, there is one, ture origin for Fake Crash: He was made for the original Crash game commercials in Japan. The Dogs loved the idea so much, they ended up putting him in WARPED as a little eye-catcher when you got 100% in the game. He's also a playible racer for CTR. (the picture was taken from the CTR guide by Prima).
Tawna Crash's girlfriend from the first game. She was never seen again, except for a picture on Crash's mantal in his home.
CTR Girls These girls are the racing girls that hand out the trophies in CTR. Isabell is the blonde (no, it's not Tawna), Ami is the green-haired. I forget the other two's names. Feel free to correct me.
These are simply the major characters. If there's one I missed, please e-mail me.
