1. NO slave is unowned. None wander the #channels cruising for Owners. All slaves must be registered with the Crystal Shores Generator, and posted on the Registry to exist. The -ONLY- exception to this rule is as follows:
If one wishes to portray a slave and has no RP partner, he/she will send an email to [email protected] expressing a wish to portray a Slave. These applications will be kept aside for Slave Auctions to be announced. Those roleplayers will be notified by email as to when the auctions will be held.
2. The portrayal of Master and Slave characters are under the GMs' eyes in the Crystal Shores RPG rooms ONLY. There is no reason to leave the channels of #Pleasuredome and #Terrordome. While a GM cannot control what is 1-1'ed between two players, the RPG's rules are to be followed. MSN messenger can also be used, but again, GMs cannot see what is going on in the private chat. If problems arise, a GM can be notified in 1-1. If no GM is available, log(s) can be sent to the Help Desk.
3. If Master and Slave DO leave the room to enter a private room, this is done CONSENTUALLY. NO ONE will be OOC Pressured or Harassed to do something they are uncomfortable with, i.e., engage in ooc cybersex or other activities. And keep in mind that whatever happens in these private rooms is NOT the liability of the Crystal Shores RPG and its GMs.
4. If a Master and Slave wish to part ways, and the Slave wishes to continue portraying his/her character, both parties will notify the Help Desk stating that they wish to no longer be an RP team. This leaves one of several options:
--The Slave, as property, and if consenting, can die at his/her Master's hands, being disposed of. REMEMBER, a slave is Property, like furniture or clothing or any other material good. This was known as you entered the relationship.
--If the Slave wishes to continue portraying the same character after being released by the Master, the slave has one of three options: Change the Character's profession, and take the XP Penalty, or go into the Slave Pool kept on file, OR the Master can sell the Slave to another character. Transactions will take place witnessed by a GM.
--If an amicable, fair decision cannot be reached by both parties, a GM can be advised of the situation. But: If a death occurs outside of the Crystal Shores rooms, it is not part of This RPG. If the death occurs within our rooms, we must be notified by both parties and the Deceased's sheet will reflect cause of death.
With these rules in mind, be advised that they will be enforced. NO ONE is to feel pressured, awkward or harassed. That is against Game and Server rules.
These classes of Master and Slave are offered as a roleplaying challenge, not a cheap thrill or an invitation to menace others.
