On the right of the laundry, a Glassworks studio has opened, a joint venture of a laborer and a mage: The mage spins the glass and the laborer fits and crafts it with precision; to serve the Islanders for their residences and shoppes.
Glass is a both a luxury and a necessity. Fine manors have many windows, both of clear and stained glass. Smaller keeps have panes with which to look out, open to allow breeze in, and close to keep insects out.
