Entering the Crystal Scribes, you realize that this is where The Sandpaper is put together. A narrow in width shop, it seems to have a depth that the eye can't make sense off. Small rooms and loud noise fill the place. Everyone working fast and furious to get the next edition of the News of the Isle's publication ready.. this quality paper is dispensed free of charge to the Residents, the only income generated through the ads, and from the sales from their gift section. For sale are:
*Quills. From rudimentary to the finest, they are available in a wide range of value and price. The least expensive is a simple bamboo quill: 3 gp. The most is an unbreakable quill of crystal handle, diamond tip, with a year's supply of ink: 575 gp. Everything inbetween is available, write with what you wish and we'll procure it.
*Parchments. From scrap parchments for little memos-to-self, to the fine quality sheepskin parchment like that used in the Archives, all are available here. As with the quills, let us know your intended use and we'll select something of value.
*Desks. For the budding or experienced writer, our large desks are produced en masse and are reinforced with bamboo runners for smoothly gliding drawers. The tops are of taut leather and rattan. Desks retail for 900gp, but deals are sometimes made.
*Bookbinding services. Not as skilled as the elves who tend to the archives, but we stand behind our work. Ask for an estimate.
