Appearance: Ryu has longish dark red hair (it's not really long, but longer then most guy's) and beautiful blue-gray eyes. He's around six feet tall and VERY good looking. He doesn't smile much, but when he does, a dimple forms on his cheek. He's usually seen in casual shirts and jeans.

Weapon(s): Dragon Katana: A long katana that bursts into flames if anyone else attempts to pick it up. The handle is black, and it is very sharp. Ryu is quite skilled using it.

Powers:
Ryuujin can summon a dragon to do his bidding (Ryuujin means Dragon King)
Dragon's Breath: Flame shoots out of his katana and engulfs the target
Ryuujin's Fury: This forms multiple fireballs that he shoots at a target with a flick of his wrist.
Dragon Warrior's Protection: forms a red shield temporarily
Katana Slice: creates a slash-shaped bit of energy that heads towards a target.

History: Ever since he was a child, Ryu has trained in martial arts under his Grandfather, because inheriting the powers of dragons runs in his family. When he turned thirteen his parents and younger sister were killed by a family rival, and Ryu went to live with his Grandfather. The murder of his family had completely changed his attitude, and darkened it. He became destructive and left his Grandfather to seek his parent's killer. Eventually, he found the ones responsible and made sure to get his revenge, but to his surprise that didn't make him feel any better. His younger sister was still gone, and Ryu still had a hard time coping with the fact he had fallen as low as his family's murderer. And then, he was hit with the news of his Grandfather's death. Rather then deal with the losses of his entire family, he put all emotion aside, becoming cold, slightly unbalanced person he is today. It's easier then dealing with his past.

Personality: Ryu is cold and tempermental. He often makes rude remarks, and is not a people-person. Sometimes he'll make friends with the few people who manage not to tick him off after about five minutes. On few occasions, he can be very nice, but most of the time he's just mildly rude.

Home: He lives in his Grandfather's old dojo, but doesn't take any students. He uses it to train, and lives in a living area above the dojo which has a couple of bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. He keeps it surprisingly neat for a bachelor.
