As someone that has been following and participating in the crypto space for years, I believe we are about to see a flood of people, banks, corporations and governments rush into crypto. They are laying out the plumbing and setting the stage now. There are so many signals and dots to connect and we want to help share this with the world. That is what you can expect from this blog. What is Bitcoin
Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer platform that operates on a decentralized network. Unlike government issued money, Bitcoin is digital money with a finite supply limited to 21 million coins total. These coins are produced through a process called mining which is essentially the function of verifiying and confirming transactions on the network. As a reward, the miner is given a Bitcoin or fraction of Bitcoin.
The Bitcoin system can be used globally by anyone that has access to a computer and internet. This means people without banks now have the ability to send and receive money, a privilige much of the western world takes for granted as we have banks and atms on every corner. For some, Bitcoin might not seem useful but for others, it's a necessity.
