ADAM LEAVES RIVKIT

Well where to start.... I guess "I want to wish Rivkit the best of luck in what they do" would be a good place? They are good guys and good friends. I am going to miss jamming with them a lot. But I feel at this point of my life being with Rivkit is not the thing for me. I am leaving because of both personal and financial reasons. I would like to thank them for the opportunity to THROW DOWN with them for the last couple of months. We had some great times playing out in Mankato, Duluth Bemidji, Princeton, Hudson, all over hell! I also want to thank all the friends and fans that supported me with my musical endeavors. This is kind of strange for me

For Your Information I put a really kick ass Messageboard up that you guys might wanna check out. I think it really Rocks. Theirs Mp3s up on mp3.com too for you people to check out and listen to 20 times a day. I'll get some new pictures up soon too(From the Princeton show with BFD) Anyway thats the updated shit. reminder that I ALWAYS keep the shows page updated. so check it out often.

Well a lot has happened in the world of Rivkit in the last months. I will take it off to the best of my knowledge from the last website. First sampler Brian and Rivkit are not together anymore, they parted ways for personal reasons. He was replaced by Lubo who has been doing a great job thus far. Shortly after Adam formally of Death Toll Odometer hooked up with the band. I "Adam" could not be happier with my choice. Great guys that want to work hard as hell is a good combo.

In March Rivkit hit up Oar Fin Studios in Minneapolis, MN to record a 3 song demo. Many hours, beerz, and foosball games later it sounds great and we could not be any happier. We have been giving the demos out for free at most shows, so come bug us if you want one.

In early May Rivkit's bass player Tony R. was hurt in a car accident on his way from a show. He fell asleep at the wheel and was hurt pretty bad. Shit he is lucky to be alive. But Tony is making a speedy recovery so far, and he will be back with us shortly. Until he is all better we have Jamal "formally of Breachless and Death Toll Odometer" filling in for him. Jamal is doing a good job in learning the riffs and you can see him throw down with us at his first Rivkit show on the June 6th battle of the bands. See tour page for more info.

Ok now for the future of Rivkit. We are going into the studio again next week with our friend Tony from the band Spore. He is doing his final project for Music Tech and wants to record Rivkit. We will be doing 3 or 4 songs up and mixing them with the Oar Fin sessions. We need to write more songs and then can release a full length in a couple of months maybe. "We have not talked about it yet but it is my guess...funds permitting!" Bios will be up shortly. Thanks for reading all this stuff guys. Adam Rivkit-
