| TAITH I'R GOGLEDD 22 - 24 CHWEFROR 2008 |
| Roedd ein taith i Ogledd Cymru yn llwyddiannus iawn. Aeth 40 o ddysgwyr a siaradwyr Cymraeg o Feddllwynog a Merthyr i Flaenau Ffestiniog am benwythnos. Gadawon ni Feddllwynog am 4.30 y prynhawn ar fws Gibbons. Stopion ni ym Merthyr i godi ein cyd-teithwyr cyn i ni fwrw at y Gogledd. Roedd amser i gael peint clou yn Rhaeadr Gwy a chyrhaeddon ni Flaenau am dua 9.30yh. Cafodd pawb amser i ddarganfod y tafarnau lleol cyn i ni fynd i'r gwely yn ystod oriau gynnar y bore. Bore Dydd Sadwrn roedd llawer ohonom yn edrych fel yr oedden ni wedi cael noson hwyr. Gadwon ni Flaenau ac aethom ar ein ffwrdd i Fetws-y-Coed. Wedyn trychineb! Torodd ein bws sgleiniog i lawr. Yn ffodus (mae'n rhaid ofyn y manylion am beth wir ddigwyddodd) roedd bws arall gyda ni tu-fewn hanner awr ac aethon ni ymlaen i Fetws, Llanberis am ginio a Chaernarfon am y rygbi (a siopa). Cyrhaeddon ni'n ol ym Mlaenau am 6.30 a chawsom sawl peint a bwyd. Ar y Dydd sul teithiom ar drydedd bws y penwythnos i'r Bala am ginio ar ol stop bach yng Nghapel Celyn a daethom adre yn flinedig ond yn hapus. Diolch i bawb am y canu ar y bws, Gwraidd am yr ariannu, Gibbons am eu gwasanaeth ardderchog, y ddau westy am eu cymorth, pobl Blaenau Ffestiniog a phawb oedd yno i wneud ein taith mor llwyddiannus Oes lluniau o'r daith gyda thi. | Our North Wales trip was a great success. 40 learners and Welsh speakers from Bedlinog and Merthyr went to Blaenau Ffestiniog for a weekend. We left Bedlinog at 4.30 Friday afternoon on a Gibbons bus. We stopped in Merthyr to pick up our fellow travellers before setting off for the North. We had time for a quick pint in Rhayader and we arrived in Blaenau at about 9.30pm. Everyone had time to discover the local pubs before going to bed in the early hours of the morning. Saturday morning lots of us looked as if we had had a late night. We left Blaenau on our way to Betws-y-Coed and tragedy! Our shiny bus broke down! Fortunately (you need know the details to realise how fortunately) we had another bus within half an hour and on we went to Betws, Llanberis for dinner and Caernarfon for the rugby (and shopping). We arrived back in Blaenau at 6.30 and had several pints and food. Sunday we travelled on our third bus of the weekend to Bala for dinner after a short stop in Capel Celyn and we came home tired but happy. Thanks to everyone for the singing on the bus, Gwraidd for the funding, Gibbons for their excellent service, the two hotels for their help, the people of Blaenau for the welcome and everyone who was there to make our trip so successful.
