So far here's what I've come up with. The Tri-lateral Commission is a group of high level civilians mostly from the US, Japan, and Europe. These individuals meet to discuss relevant issues for all nations represented. It is unclear what power or influence they exert on governments. No doubt they do have some influence simply by looking at the members of the Tri-lateral Commission itself. They seem to be former Political figures, CEO's, etc. Basically, members of the ruling class in all represented countries. These representatives are also Masons. In addition to this, there have been many U.S. Presidents and Congressional Representatives who were or are Masons.
Apparently, the Masons go back well beyond the existence of this Nation. One web site stated the Masons have been around about one thousand years. I can't prove or dispute this claim but they do appear to be rooted in the old world before the US even existed. The Shriners are evidence of this. Yes, all Shriners are Masons first. When I began investigating the Masons I was not sure what to expect. I initially thought these were individuals hell bent on world domination. This could very well turn out to be truth someday. Afterall, many of the questionable politicians this country has endoured, were or are Masons. At this point though, I have to conclude that for the most part the Masons seem to be genuine and honest citizens working to build a better nation. The Shriners are very generous in their contributions and everyone has heard of the Shriners Children's hospitals. I have no doubt they have their bad individuals, as do all public and private organizations. In regards to the rituals and ceremonies they perform, I read one web site that stated something to the effect that the Masons were not consistently following the Christian Faith. In reponse to this I say the following; All fraternities, yes it is just a big fraternity, have their own unique and often bizarre rituals and rights of passage. Anyone who has belonged to a college fraternity can attest to this fact. (I served in the Marine Corps so I can tell you that Hazing Rituals still exist in the U.S. Military.) This does not make the Masons anything more than they already are. If they are unwilling to openly discuss their rights and rituals, that is their constitutional right. It does not mean they are up to no good.
On a personal note, I think it is a GOOD thing that we have civilian organizations such as the Free and Accepted Masons. I do not believe our government always has our best interests in mind when they make decisions. I sleep better knowing there is a group like this out there to at least provide an alternative open dialogue among all repsective nations.
Of course, there is always the possibility that I am completely wrong about the Masons and they really are hell bent on world domination. So, I leave it to you to form your own conclusions and begin construction of your bomb shelter if you feel that it's necessary.
Well, there it is. I'm sure along the way I'll dig up more to wonder about. If anyone has correct information, please contact me with your correction and EVIDENCE TO BACK UP THE CORRECTION. Your opinion does not constitute a truth or fact.

We trained Bin Laden to fight the Russians in Afghanistan. We then promptly left him hanging by his bootstraps when he needed us. The Taliban then seized control of Afghanistan. We turned our backs on Bin Laden and his men creating a deadly enemy. We suffered the consequesnce of our Governmental shortsightedness. We knew Bin laden was out there and that he wanted to hit us.
We helped Saddam Hussein rise to power and supported him in his war against Iran. We supplied him with his first Chemical weapons. He turned on us and supported terrorists that would harm our nation. Again, we created our own enemy.
The only question left is, Who are we training now, that will one day do our nation harm?

Some people think Patriotism is waving flags around shortly after a Terrorist attack. If that is your definition, you are entitled to think and feel that way. I believe it is everywhere you find hard working honest people. They do their best each day and take responsibility for their actions. This benefits our nation and everyone in it.
Unfortunately, in the current administration of our Government, It's hard to find REAL Patriots these days. Many modern politicians only appear to be good at dodging responsibility and accountability.
