On Thursday October 14 the Cardinal runners suprised many by placing 2nd at the NWSC meet. For the first time in a long time the Cardinals' top 5 runners were all sub-18. Each of the top 5 runners either received All Conference or All Conference Honorable Mention honors. John Kennedy and Troy Dey led the Cardinals by running 16:49 in the Varsity race. Kennedy and Dey were joined by Mike Schneppenheim in receiving All Conference Honors. Dylan Stanton and Joe Trapp each received All Conference Honorable Mention honors by running 17:45 and 17:46 respectively. 21 of the 25 Cardinal runners ran lifetime best races,something that has not happened once at all this year. The Cardinals were only 24 pts. behind Andover and they beat Park Center by 42 pts.
