On Thursday September 4th the Cardinal runners competed in the Conference Preview at Anoka High School. The Boys took second overall losing only to Andover. Once again Troy Dey led the way for the boys, taking 2nd overall with a time of 17:34. Overall, 14 Cardinals ran lifetime bests at the meet. Of those 14, six of them were in the top ten on the team.
Next up for the Cardinal runners is the St. Francis Invitational in St. Francis, MN on Thursday September 11. Last year we had a very strong showing at this meet. Hopefully this year we will be even stronger. This year the meet is being at a new golf course down the road a ways from the old spot of the meet. Check the schedule for meet directions in the next couple of days.
