The state of Minnesota was well represented at the Region VIII Championships in Lincoln. Brandon Heebink and Grant Ellingson were the lone Cardinals running and had it tough against the other runners. Heebink finished 22nd, missing qualifying for Nationals by only 2 places.
The winning time in the Young Men's division was 15:59, run by an All-State runner from South Dakota.
