The Twin Cities Suburban West Conference Championships of 1999 was a great race for all runners of Coon Rapids. Two runners finished with All-Conference races and two had All-Conference Honorable Mention performances. Receiving All-Conference were the team captains Brian Krohmer and Matt Tucker. Getting All-Conference Honorable Mention were Pat Charlesworth and Brandon Heebink. As a team, they finished 4th, only 9 points behind 3rd place Park Center, and 15 points behind champion Maple Grove.
In the junior varsity race, Ryan Ahles had a dissappointing end to his season as he was trampled by a Stillwater runner moments after the start. He suffered an injured hip.
All in all, this was an incredible race for Coon Rapids Cross-Country and next season will only be better.
