| 01/24/06: FINALLY, some progress begins! Look familiar? Here's The Rat in tow on it's way to Kenny's VW to get a new rear apron and engine side tray welded in place. Notice the lack of rear windows. |

| 12/26/05: Interior work begins. I gutted the interior from the front seats back, including the headliner. After quickly realizing what a nightmare it must be to install a new headliner, I decided that this interior would not be going back to stock trim. I think I'll have some fun in here... |

| Hey, this pic is tradition now! Here it is with the apron welded in place. Also (unseen in pic) I had the right side tray welded in to the engine compartment as well. Next came removal of the diagnostic block, and painting of the engine compartment and apron. |
