MANILA, Oct. 4 (Sunstar) -- Diether Ocampo is definitely the hottest matinee idol in town. He has elevated himself from the crowd of young actor wannabes by being recognized as the next dramatic actor to watch out for-with his string of leading man materials. And now, he is still on top of the list of credible commercial endorsers. Diether had finally wrapped up production of his latest movie, "Gusto Ko Nang Lumigaya" under Viva Films. He plays the pivotal role of a detective who becomes involved with the call he has been tasked to discover. He co-stars with Concert Queen Pops Fernandez, Albert Martinez, Bojo Molina, Anton Bernardo, Allyson VII and Patricia Javier in this movie directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes. "Ang sarap ng feeling ko after kong matapos ang movie. Mahirap ang role and at the same time, masarap dahil may sense of fulfillment. Nakikipagsabayan ka sa magagaling na artista and this is the first time that I have worked with Maryo J," says Diether. Aside form the movie, Diet is likewise staring in a new flavorful Pizza Hut commercial. The commercial, now being seen on television, is both visual and funny. It promotes the new flavor of Stuffed Crust Pizza, the Chicken Bar-BQ. "I had so much from doing the commercial kasi funny siya at talagang kakaiba! And of course, flattered ako dahil patuloy ang magandang relationship ko with Pizza Hut," Diether explains. A lot more is in store for Diether as the year 2000 is coming to its last quarter. And for sure, every flavorful step will just reinstate Diether as the leader of the pack of young actors wanting to make it big in the business. "I am really working hard dahil alam ng lahat kung paano ako nagsimula. I have worked hard to make it to whatever I am now and the only way to sustain and make people notice me more, is really to work doubly hard. Okay lang 'yun. It's for all the people and the things that I love, e-my family, my fans, and this business," Diether says. Definitely, with Diether's attitude, every slice of his success is worth it-not only flavorful but something that one cannot easily forget
