About my school

We are Indonesian Future Leaders!

My school is SMAN Sumatera Selatan ( Sampoerna Academy) that provide Boarding School System, so we live in dormitory during School period until graduate from that school. Become the part of family of this school is easy that you think on, we need hard struggle ‘till our name will be mentioned in the last phase announcement.

This School was Built on 2009 and has 1 Alumny that has graduated since 2012 ago. Now SMAN Sumatera Selatan ( Sampoerna Academy ) Has the 4th Intake in 2012.

Living in dormitory have given me lot of things to do when we get adult, Washing, Ironing, are the examples that we will do when you’re far apart from your family. It is easy to do that, but we will feel lazy when we are not try to do it before getting adult.

Talking about school, of course there will be learning system, In my school, especially for 10 graders, they will have 2 curriculum. IGCSE is the curriculum from England ( International General Certificate of Secondary Education ) and one from KTSP ( Kurikulum Tingkat satuan Pendidikan ) from Indonesia. The way how to delivered the material of learning system is also different. IGCSE with English, and KTSP of course using bahasa.

And the last thing that shows that our school is different with other schools in south sumatera is using of English in daily life. So, start from accepted at this school, till graduate from school, you will be asked to speak English In every place, except Toilet and Our bed room hahahaha… :D
