67th Oregon District Council March 31 � April 2, 2003 Peoples Church ~ Salem DR. MARK RUTLAND Dr. Mark Rutland currently serves as president of both Southeastern College and Global Servants. He is also the CEO of the Rutland Group, a church growth and leadership consultancy. Southeastern is one of the fastest growing private colleges in Florida. His 30-minute daily radio program, Herald of Joy is heard in multiple markets. Through Global Servants, Dr. Rutland has founded ministries in Peru, Ghana, India, and Thailand. The House of Grace home for tribal girls in Chiang Rai, Thailand was founded in 1988, and houses over 100 girls, rescued from prostitution. A native of Texas, he was educated at the University of Maryland, Chandler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, and holds a Ph.D. from California Graduate School of Theology. Dr. Rutland is the author of eight books: Launch Out Into the Deep, The Finger of God, Hanging by a Thread, Behind the Glittering Mask, Streams of Mercy, God of the Valley, Nevertheless and his newest book, Dream, which will be released in early 2003.
