Presentation Rubric (50 points)
1.Share a ˝ page introduction of book and ˝
page recommendation of this book to other students. This
intro/summary/recommendation must be typed. Please have the book available to show
the class, and you must write the title and author on board. Do not give away
any exciting or surprise endings._____ (10 pts)
2. Present an original poem you have written after
reading the book that clearly tells the storyline or plot of your
book. Poem should be about a page long (or 15-25 lines) It must be typed!

3. Have a creative/engaging visual:
comic strip, collage, diorama, “movie” style poster,
book jacket, storyboard, timeline with drawings, newspaper (front page), series
of drawings or paintings, scrap book, or “photo” album, video production,
claymation or puppet show, power point presentation or a webpage (please know
how to use an in-focus projector)
Make sure your visual is appropriate and aids in
understanding of the setting, plot, characters, conflicts, etc. of the book

**You may show a clip from movie versions of your
book, but it must not replace your visual. You may also have “theme”
music but only in addition to your visual.
Be prepared to turn in your entire presentation!
