Spongebob SquarePants lives deep down in a city called "Bikini Bottom", somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. He lives in a pineapple with his pet snail, Gary, and works at "The Crusty Krabs," which he enjoys very much. He gets on his next door neighbor Squidward's nerves a lot though. He's very fond of jelly fishing, but just can't seem to avoid getting stung! Ouch! He spends a lot of his time hanging out with his best friend Patrick Star, bubble blowing, jelly fishing, annoying Squidward, working as a fry cook, putting Mrs. Puff in the hospital, and being a hall monitor. He once tried going up on land after Sandy Cheeks (one of his good friends) challenged him to - though it didn't turn out very well. Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and Patrick joined him in the adventure. He once defeated the evil plankton!

Patrick Star lives in Bikini Bottom as well with his best friend SpongeBob. They get along very nicely - and when they DO fight, they always end up making up. He is a loyal Starfish with a very unique mind. He enjoys making up pointless games to entertain SpongeBob and himself, and it works. But if you don't get him a Valentine's Day present, watch out! He can be touchy. Patrick enjoys his life under the sea, and spends most of his time jelly fishing, borrowing quarters (in and out of reality), getting SpongeBob into trouble without realizing it, being a spy, and setting new fashion trends. Though he can be ... well, dumb, he's probably the best friend you could ever have down in Bikini Bottom.

Squidward Tenticles lives in Bikini Bottom. He's blessed with having dear old SpongeBob as a next door neighbor. He can be cranky a lot, but deep down he really cares for others... we think. He also works at The Crusty Krabs with SpongeBob, and occasionaly works very hard at being Employee of the Month! But sometimes a little too hard. He enjoys getting SpongeBob into HEAPS of trouble, painting pictures of himself, making sculptures of himself, playing his claritnet, modern dance, plotting with Mr. Krabs, and keeping his lawn nice and clean.

Mr. Krabs lives in Bikini Bottom and manages the Crusty Krabs. It can be a very hard job when SpongeBob is on the staff, or when an evil Plankton is trying to steal the Krabby Pattie's secret recipe. He definitely charges WAY too much, and can smell money from miles and miles away. He's definitely very into money. He has a daughter, Pearl.

Sandy Cheeks is a "land critter" and is probably the strongest creature in Bikini Bottom. She is constantly karate chopping with SpongeBob, or working out at Muscle Beach. She's definitely into health. Sandy cares for SpongeBob and Patrick HEAPS, and sometimes gets them out of sticky situations. She's always there when you need her, but we could live without all those long Texan sayings she has.

Plankton (unknown last name) lives in Bikini Bottom as well. He owns "The Chum Bucket" and works very hard at stealing the secret recipe for the sea's famous Krabby Pattie, though he hasn't suceeded yet. Since SpongeBob has taught him the meaning of F.U.N he has become very fond of it, though he refuses to give up his life of crime. He enjoys... well, trying to steal the secret recipe for Krabby Patties, and going to movies. 1% evil. 99% hot gas.
